Abstract: A system, and a method adapted to recognize a physical product at a retailer's physical outlet through a cellular device, having a geographic positioning signaling means, utilized by a user of it. Product price tags are scanned, decoded, and the output data is queried against a product database to search for product matches. If there are multiple matches geographical positioning coordinates from the cellular device GPS, base stations or WI-FI access points are utilized to pick the correct product information in the database, which is then stored in a user database.
