Abstract: Methods and apparatus for subscribing to multimedia delivery services in a data network. A method is provided for subscribing to receive a subscription package in a data network. The method includes receiving resource requirements associated with the subscription package, and determining whether or not selected resources are available to meet the resource requirements associated with the subscription package. The method also includes excluding a first portion of services associated with the subscription package, if it is determined that the selected resources fail to meet the resource requirements associated with the subscription package, and subscribing to receive a second portion of services associated with the subscription package, wherein resource requirements of the second portion of services are met by the selected resources.

Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for multi-style portfolio cash flow enhancement. The systems and methods include identifying a first set of one or more investment sleeves within an investment account as underweighted relative to a desired target and identifying a second set of one or more investment sleeves within the investment account as overweighted relative to the desired target, where the investment account includes a plurality of investment sleeves and where each investment sleeve includes at least one asset.

Abstract: Apparatus and method for providing and receiving media programming information including providing programming package information comprising attributes of a package of media presentation channels. Further, a subscription characteristic is defined that determines an ability subscribe to the package and to present the programming package information on a device. The device operates to compare the subscription characteristic with device-related subscription information. A subscription is allowed and/or the programming package information is presented on the device based on a predetermined relationship between the subscription characteristic and the device subscription information.

Abstract: Methods and apparatus simultaneously hosting multiple service providers on a network. A method is provided for hosting multiple service providers in a data network. The method includes controlling access to services offered by one or more service providers, and discovering affiliation provisions associated with a device, wherein the affiliation provisions are associated with one or more selected service providers. The method also includes filtering the services according to the affiliation provisions to generate a package database of services offered by the one or more selected service providers, and transmitting the package database to the device.

Abstract: Methods, systems and devices enable efficient delivery of UDP packets over broadcast systems to receiver devices. UDP packets may be bundled and embedded within files for transmission over a file delivery framework, to deliver UDP packets over a broadcast network. A broadcast schedule message (BSM) may inform receiver devices of files and UDP packets that will be broadcast at a specified time, as well as describe the files and UDP packets. Files may be transmitted in file delivery pipes, which may be of different bandwidth and data rates. Receiver devices configured according to the embodiments may make use of the BSM message to select the UDP packets to be received based on the service or application to which the UDP packets are associated. Receiver devices activate receiver circuitry to capture the files and the UDP packets contained therein and pass the received files to applications or services requesting the files.

Abstract: In an exemplary embodiment, a method includes receiving a request from a client access module to access loan information from a loan system, wherein the request is initiated by a selected one of a client and a participant. A processor determines whether the request is initiated by the participant and retrieves loan information associated with the request. The retrieved loan information is communicated through the client access module to the participant if the request is initiated by the participant.

Abstract: An apparatus and method for installation of molding is disclosed. With the apparatus and method, corner pieces are held in alignment during installation. This allows a person to hold both corner pieces in place with one hand while using the other hand to secure the molding to the wall or ceiling, thereby facilitating an accurate alignment. Moreover, use of an aligning member allows the installer to “fine-tune” the alignment of the corner pieces to fit unique contours of a desired wall corner. Before securing the molding to the wall, the corner pieces may be moved laterally or vertically along the aligning member to help find a perfect alignment. Several embodiments of the aligning member are disclosed, including members with varying angles for different corner segments, flexible members, and members with varying cross-sections.

Abstract: A chamber dropper bottle is disclosed that is sized to contain medicine. The dropper bottle includes a central recess in a bottom wall of the bottle. The recess is sized to accommodate a single dose of medicine. A central tapered cylindrical dropper chamber extends into the recess, while an annular medicine chamber is positioned about the central tapered cylindrical dropper chamber. The central tapered cylindrical dropper chamber includes one or more apertures sized to allow fluid to flow between the annular medicine chamber, the central tapered cylindrical dropper chamber and the recess.

Abstract: A system and method for identifying a candidate set of one or more buy orders associated with an investment account, ordering the buy orders in the candidate set into a chain, determining a back out target value that identifies a fiscal amount by which the candidate set must be reduced, and decrementing an initial asset quantity of one or more successive non-zero quantity buy orders in the chain by a fixed integer quantity to a final asset quantity until the back out target value is achieved. The candidate set of buy orders can then be modified by replacing the respective initial asset quantity with the respective final asset quantity for at least one of the one or more buy orders. The modified candidate set of buy orders can then be provided for trade execution.
