  • Publication number: 20180084791
Abstract: A food forming system includes a rotatable drum, an inner platen, and a first insert plate. The rotatable drum comprises an aperture. The inner platen is disposed in a fixed position within the rotatable drum. The rotatable drum is configured to rotate relative to the inner platen. When the rotatable drum is in a first rotated position the inner platen blocks the aperture, and when the rotatable drum is in a second rotated position the inner platen does not block the aperture. The first insert plate is attached to the rotatable drum directly over the aperture. The first insert plate includes a first food forming pattern having at least one opening.

  • Publication number: 20140308420
Abstract: Systems, apparatuses, and methods for forming and texturing a comestible product are provided. In one aspect a machine includes a product hopper adapted to receive comestible product, and a product forming and texturing assembly. The assembly includes a plate defining a product opening therein, and a texturing unit coupled to the plate and including a plurality of projections extending therefrom into the product opening to form indentations in comestible product positioned in the product opening The machine also includes a knock-out mechanism adapted to engage comestible product positioned in the product opening in order to dislodge the comestible product from the product opening. The assembly is moveable between a first position, in which comestible product is adapted to be introduced into the product opening from the product hopper, and a second position, in which the knock-out mechanism is adapted to engage the comestible product positioned in the product opening.

  • Patent number: 6763289
Abstract: A system for operating and releasing a store of a first predetermined type includes an aircraft adapted to control the operation of stores of a second predetermined type and a bypass apparatus. The store is releasably secured to the aircraft, and the aircraft is capable of releasing the store. The aircraft is capable of being configured such that a store of the first predetermined type is capable of operating independent of operating instructions. The bypass apparatus is carried by the aircraft and adapted to facilitate operation of the store. The bypass apparatus can store operating instructions and thereafter transmit the operating instructions into the store. As such, after the aircraft releases the store the store is capable of operating according to the operating instructions. Also, the system can include an umbilical cable disposed between the aircraft and the store. The bypass apparatus can, therefore, be disposed within the umbilical cable.
