    Abstract: A slide fastener assembly includes a first coupling member that has a plurality of locking tabs. A second coupling member has a plurality of locking channels. Each of the locking channels of the second coupling member receives one of the locking tabs of the first coupling member when the second coupling member and the first coupling member are pressed together. A slider assembly is slidably coupled to the first coupling member and the second coupling member. The slider slides in a first direction along the first coupling member and the second coupling member for locking each of the locking tabs of the first coupling member into a respective one of the locking channels of the second coupling member. The slider slides in a second direction for removing each of the locking tabs of the first coupling member from the respective one of the locking channels of the second coupling member.
