  • Patent number: 11919555
Abstract: A laundry cart and methods for using it are described herein. The laundry cart has the ability to dump laundry from its shelves to the bottom surface of the laundry cart via rotatable shelves, eliminating the need to remove laundry from each shelf. In addition, the rotatable nature of the shelves allows the shelves to effectively close the laundry cart for effective transportation of laundry, minimizing spillage of laundry out of the laundry cart during transit.

  • Publication number: 20130333296
Abstract: An adjustable template for defining outer peripheral dimensions of a door comprises first and second side elements (5,6), each of which comprises an outer telescoping member (8) and an inner telescoping member (9). The first and second side elements (5,6) are coupled together by upper and lower linkage mechanisms (10,11) so that the first and second side elements (5,6) are operable between an inoperable state illustrated in FIG. 1 and an operable state illustrated in FIGS. 2 and 3 whereby the first and second side elements (5,6) define the width dimensions of the opening in which the door is to be located from the top of the opening to the bottom of the opening. The inner telescoping members (9) are urged outwardly of the outer telescoping members (8) so that the first and second side elements (5,6) extend from the saddle or floor of the opening of the door to the upper edge of the opening of the doorway.

  • Patent number: 8284881
Abstract: The present invention provides for method of seeking synchronization at a data interface between a transmitting element and a receiving element, and to related transmitting and receiving elements of the interface, in which the clock frequency of both elements is the same but which exhibit a phase difference, also known as mesochronous clock domains, the method including the steps of, prior to data transfer at the interface, delivering a strobe signal generated at the transmitting element to the receiving element, generating a strobe signal at the receiving element and synchronizing the same to the strobe signal received from the transmitting element, and maintaining the synchronized strobe signal generated at the receiving element for the sampling of data appearing at the interface from the transmitting element.

  • Patent number: 7315781
Abstract: Determination of the orientation of a unit is based on solar positioning. An actual measurement of the position of the sun is taken and compared to a theoretical determination of the position of the sun. By comparing the actual and theoretical positions, the orientation of the unit is determined in an accurate, reliable, and economical manner.

  • Patent number: 7228964
Abstract: A storage case (1) for a compact disc (2) comprises an outer shell (4) within which an inner carrier (5) for storing the compact disc (2) is slideable between an open and a closed position. The compact disc (2) is stored in a disc storing area (20) between a lower support plate (15) and an upper retaining member (19) of the inner carrier (5). Guide plates (25, 26) slideably guide the compact disc (2) into and out of the disc storing area (20). Resilient disc engaging clips (30) on a rear end wall (17) of the inner carrier (5) resiliently urges the compact disc (2) against corresponding abutment members (33) on the front end wall (16) for securing the compact disc (2) against sideward sliding from the disc storing area (20). The combination of the disc engaging clips (30) and the guide plates (25, 26) avoid the need for a central locating spigot for engaging a central opening of the compact disc (2).

  • Publication number: 20070030789
Abstract: The invention pertains to a method off controlling radiation power of a radiation source (25) comprising the steps of a) measuring a radiated power of the radiation source (25), b) calculating an error value (e) which is indicative of a difference between the 5 radiated power and a setpoint value (SP), c) integrating the error value (e) to obtain an integrated error value by feeding the error value to an integrator (21), d) multiplying the error value (e) with a factor p to obtain a proportional error value, driving the radiation source (25) with a current which is derived from the error value (e) by adding the integrated error value and the proportional error value, f) providing a step signal (St) which indicates that the setpoint value (SP) is changed stepwise, and g) temporarily stopping the integration of the error value (e) when the step signal (St) indicates a stepwise change in the setpoint value (SP). By temporarily stopping the integrator (21) from integrating the integrator (21) does not wind up.
