  • Publication number: 20230030708
Abstract: A method for capturing an object in a cavity in a patient is described. The method includes advancing a ureteroscope into the cavity containing the object. A basket is advanced through a working channel of the ureteroscope. The basket is opened within the cavity and is positioned so as to enclose the object. Then, two actions are performed simultaneously. The basket is collapsed while simultaneously the basket tool is advanced forward so that the object remains within the basket, ideally near the center of the basket, as the basket closes around the object. Once the object is captured, the basket is retracted to remove the object out of the cavity. Further, this process may be automated by having the method carried out by robotic arms acting in tandem, with one or more robotic arms advancing the basket tool or ureteroscope, and another robotic arm collapsing the basket.

  • Patent number: 10676284
Abstract: An apparatus, method, and system are provided to accept a delivery through an opening such as a window in a wall of a package that is transported by any aerial vehicle such as a drone or other similar device. The system is completely installed on the inside of the building and extends out through the portal to receive the package from the aerial vehicle. Once the package has been transferred to this system from the aerial vehicle, it moves the package into the building through the same opening and sufficiently distances itself and the package from the opening so that the window or portal can close. The package is then placed on the floor in front of the window or portal and the apparatus moves the package to a position that allows for a space to place another package following a future delivery.

  • Patent number: 10633909
Abstract: A controlled, motorized mechanism to actuate a sash type window opened and closed. The system provides a set of motors, each positioned on either side of a window, that are controlled by a motor controller that receives feedback on the progression of rotation of the motors as they actuate each side of the window. The feedback is then utilized to control each of the motors. This controlled system ensures that one side of the window does not become raised or lowered further in its channel than the opposite side—or “racked”—and thus increase the friction against the frame that would disable any further progress actuating said window.
