Abstract: A holder for inverted containers has a holder body with four vertical or near vertical outer walls and a guiding funnel passing through the holder body from top to bottom. A top surface of the holder body is cylindrically curved to support the shoulders of a container. At least one notch is present in the holder body for accommodating a handle of a container. All the surfaces have at least one linear or convex sectional profile and are pocketless so that dishwashing water drains off the holder in every orientation. The holder may include a back plate for additional support, magnetic connectors for connecting to other holders, or an electronic communication device for detecting a tag on a container. The holder may be made in two pieces that fasten together.
