  • Patent number: 11113316
Abstract: A method, system, and computer program for processing records is disclosed. In some aspects, a method includes associating, on at least one of the plurality of processors, each record with a record set of a plurality of record sets. Each record set is assigned to a sub-database based on the record set. A cache is associated with each sub-database, and each sub-database and its associated cache is associated with a processor set. An affinity is created between each database cache and the associated processor set, and records are processed with the processor sets according to the associations.
    Type: Grant

  • Patent number: 9613129
Abstract: A method, system, and computer program for processing records is disclosed. The records are associated with record sets, based on a record number contained in the record. Record sets are associated with physically separate processor sets, which include one or more processors. Records are electronically routed to associated processor sets for processing, based on the record set associated with the record. Records are processed on processors in the processor sets. Furthermore, various localized affinities can be established. Process affinity can link server processes with processor sets. Cache affinity can link database caches with processor sets. Data affinity can link incoming data to processor sets.

  • Publication number: 20040194727
Abstract: An enclosure with four sides, a top, leaving the bottom side open to allow for insertion and removal of a block of solid bird food. When the block of solid bird food is placed into the enclosure and is retained by a wire cover, the bottom side opening can be large enough to allow the block of solid bird food to freely move within the enclosure. The present invention also relates to an enclosure with four sides, a top, leaving the bottom side open to allow for insertion and removal of a wire basket. When the block of solid bird food is contained in the wire basket that is then inserted into the enclosure, the bottom side opening can be less than the nominal size of the wire basket. This will retain the wire basket in the enclosure.
