  • Publication number: 20230392313
Abstract: An array of laundry washing machines that includes a plurality of laundry washing machines. Each of the laundry washing machines has an operator side. A plurality of pump systems, each of which is connected to two or more washing machines, is provided. For 80% to 100% of the laundry washing machines in the array, adjacent laundry washing machines having the operator sides out of alignment from one another by less than 90 degrees are not connected to the same pump system.

  • Publication number: 20220380962
Abstract: A laundry treatment composition supply system to supply laundry treatment composition to multiple washing machines. The system can include a first supply container and a second supply container. Each of the supply containers can be operably engaged with a level sensor. Upon a low liquid level signal from a sensor associated with a container, a controller system can switch supply of the laundry treatment composition from the container having a low level to another container. The laundry treatment composition can be pumped from one supply container or the other supply container.

  • Publication number: 20200050522
Abstract: A management fabric for a server cluster may receive an indication of a failover condition in the server cluster for a virtual machine executing in the server cluster, where a first database program executing at the virtual machine communicates with one or more data storage devices that is attached to the virtual machine, and where a hostname is associated with the virtual machine. In response to receiving the indication of the failover condition, the server cluster may perform failover, including attaching the one or more data storage devices to a backup virtual machine associated with the one or more data storage devices, so that a second database program executing at the backup virtual machine is able to communicate with the one or more data storage devices, where the backup virtual machine is already executing in the server cluster, and associating the hostname with the backup virtual machine.

  • Patent number: 7239639
Abstract: A system and method classifies packets with a programmably fixed network processor program and dynamically updated data structures. The network processor program selects predetermined packet field values of the packets transmitted across the network and classifies the packets by matching one or more packet field values with a data structure. New packet classifications are dynamically created by updating the data structure to associate one or more predetermined packet field values with the new packet classification. For instance, a parse tree program extracts packet header information and matches the packet header information to the data structure. A pattern tree data structure provides longest prefix matches and an ordered tree data structure provides combination matches so that classification of arbitrary Boolean combinations of extracted header fields can be formed.

  • Patent number: 6796673
Abstract: A restaurant billfold is disclosed with an illuminated signaling beacon for signaling a server that the billfold and payment are ready to be collected. The signaling beacon is mounted on the front of the billfold and includes a pressure-actuating electrical or mechanical switch that turns on and off a light source such as an LED, The light source is enclosed in a housing comprising a bracket mounted on the front of the billfold and a back plate mounted on the inside of the billfold, where the bracket and back plate cooperate to sandwich a front panel of the billfold therebetween.

  • Patent number: 6321744
Abstract: An improved, induced-draft, gas-fired furnace which is adapted to operate at any of a high, medium and low firing rate. A pressure sensing assembly generates differential pressure signals that vary in accordance with the pressure across a heat exchanger assembly. A gas flow control assembly is responsive to the differential pressure signals, and to signals received from the furnace control circuit, to supply gas to the furnace at any of its three different firing rates, the lowest of those said firing rates corresponding to a gas-air mixture which cannot be ignited. The furnace control circuit applies to the circulating air blower, and to the inducer blower, speed controls signals that are so related to one another that the fuel utilization efficiency of the furnace is at least as great during steady state operation at its low firing rate as during steady state operation at its medium firing rate.

  • Patent number: 6161535
Abstract: A method and apparatus for increasing the circulating airflow of induced-draft, gas-fired multi-stage furnaces without creating conditions that result in cold spot corrosion therein. Control circuitry is provided to selectably increase the circulating airflow of the furnace during low stage operation. The control circuitry is arranged so that increases in the magnitude of the circulating airflow of the furnace are accompanied by predetermined increases in the magnitude of the combustion airflow of the furnace. The magnitudes of the circulating and combustion airflows are so related to one another that the temperature at the output of the heat exchanger is maintained at a value which is approximately constant, and which is high enough to assure that water cannot condense thereon. The control circuitry may include a relay or relay-like device that is connected to prevent the high stage solenoid of the gas valve from becoming actuated during low stage operation.
