  • Publication number: 20240100296
Abstract: A package for a medical device such as an intermittent catheter has a case and a cap connected by threads. The case includes a hollow tube which is closed at one end and open at the other. A shoulder is formed near one end of the case. Above the shoulder is a cylindrical ferrule that includes external threads. The cap has internal threads selectably engageable with the threads on the ferrule to form a liquid-tight seal between the cap and case when the cap is installed on the case.

  • Patent number: 8910943
Abstract: The target according to the present disclosure is configured to indicate to the shooter whether the shot hit or missed the target. The target also provides the shooter feedback as to shot placement relative to particular locations on the target. This configuration is advantageous for many types of shooting and is especially advantageous in situations where immediate and consistent shot placement feedback is desire.

  • Patent number: 4350591
Abstract: Apparatus for cleaning cutting-laden drilling mud utilizes an upwardly inclined traveling belt screen. Successive portions of the screen are established as a planar screen surface supported by an underlying grille. A vibration unit attached to the grille imparts vibrating movement to the screen to more effectively separate cuttings from drilling mud deposited thereon. A vibratory plate is immersed in the puddle of mud which forms over an aft section of the inclined planar screen surface and acts to compact the mud and enhance its penetration therethrough. An auxiliary gas break-up screen disposed in the path of mud being directed toward the belt screen causes the release of gases contained in the cutting-laden drilling mud, and a blower driven vented enclosure hood placed over the gas break-up screen captures and exhausts released gases.

  • Patent number: 4328461
Abstract: Apparatus for measuring a high voltage electric field, such as may be used in simulating lightning strikes or the like on a test specimen, is disclosed. In general, a capacitive electric field sensor is disclosed which utilizes a pair of spaced conductors or electrodes and which is placed in the field to be measured. The conductors shield a device within the sensor which generates a signal responsive to the intensity of the electric field. This signal is transmitted to a remote data acquisition system by means of non-electrically conductive data transmission lines (e.g., fiber optic transmission lines) so as to electrically isolate the sensor and the data acquisition system whereby the sensor only minimally distorts or affects the field being measured thereby. A method for measuring high voltage electric fields is also disclosed.

  • Patent number: 4146483
Abstract: A segmented endless belt vibrating screen for removing solid particles from a stream of drilling fluid circulated therethrough. The endless belt is mounted on a resiliently mounted vibratory carriage. Rollers driven by a motor carry the belt. The screen is connected to the belt by a plurality of spaced hooks along the screen. A wiper and a washpipe are supplied for removing particulate from the screen.
