Abstract: A method and system for providing individualized video program content whereby currently available synchronized active shutter technology, such as is implemented in currently available 3-D televisions, and multiple channel audio technology, such as stereo, or 5:1 surround sound technology, is modified to provide two or more interlaced versions of at least a portion of a video program such that two or more “classes”, or types of viewers, can virtually simultaneously view separate versions of the portion of a video program in a single run of the video program, i.e., in the same viewing of the program by both types of viewers.

Abstract: A method for repairing an error in a software application, including receiving an error including an error description detailing the error, identifying, using a plurality of commands, a network address of a client computer executing the software application and a file system location on the client computer, transmitting, using the plurality of commands, an error tool file to the client computer at the network address, storing, using the plurality of commands, the error tool file on the client computer at the file system location, installing, using the plurality of commands, an error tool on the client computer using the error tool file, executing, using the plurality of commands, the error tool on the client computer, repairing the error in the software application after executing the error tool, and receiving feedback in the form of an execution log from the error tool.

Abstract: In general, in one aspect, the invention relates to a method for authenticating using a mobile device of a user. The method involves receiving a request for access to a secure resource and requesting credentials for accessing the secure resource from the user. The method further involves receiving a request to obtain the credentials from the mobile device, where the mobile device includes a mobile device user interface and a credential interface, and requesting the credentials from the mobile device. The method still further involves, in response to the credential interface authenticating the user on the mobile device using input received from the mobile device user interface, receiving the credentials from the mobile device. The method further involves determining that the user is authorized to access the secure resource based on the credentials and providing the user with access to the secure resource.

Abstract: A method for managing charitable donations of a donor. The method includes receiving donation information associated with a charitable donation of a donor from a browser extension of a browser application, where the browser application is executing on a user system associated with the donor and where the browser extension obtains the donation information independent of web content presented in the browser application. The method further includes receiving a request for the donation information from a tax preparation entity. The method further includes in response to the request, sending the donation information to the tax preparation entity, where the donation information is used by the tax preparation entity to generate tax documentation for the donor.

Abstract: A user of a data management system agrees to allow the data management system to obtain user data associated with the user from a third party target site computing system. A distributed client is then implemented on one or more user computing systems used by the one or more users to access the target site computing system. The data management system then makes a request to the distributed client, and the user computing system, to obtain desired data from the target site computing system. The distributed client(s) then accesses/access, directs the user computing system(s) to access, or waits for the user(s) to next access, the target site computing system. The target site computing system is then securely accessed by the user computing system, thereby by-passing any selective blocking/failure filters, and the requested data is accessed and provided to the data management system provider computing system.
