  • Patent number: 11339553
Abstract: A work machine includes a machine frame and a cab supported from the machine frame. At least one pivotal connection between the cab and the machine frame allows the cab to be tilted relative to the machine frame. The pivotal connection includes first and second clevises fixed to the machine frame, the first and second clevises including first and second aligned pin openings, respectively. A pivot pin is received through the pin openings so that the pivot pin is pivotable relative to the machine frame. A viscous mount includes a housing portion, a plunger portion, and a flexible element connecting the plunger portion to the housing portion. The housing portion is attached to the cab, and the plunger portion is attached to the pivot pin between the first and second clevises such that the cab and the viscous mount are pivotable with the pivot pin relative to the machine frame.

  • Patent number: 10647364
Abstract: A vehicle is disclosed which includes a frame with a viscous isolator, a first pin receptor, a retainer, a cab, and a pin. The first pin receptor includes a base portion mounted to the viscous isolator and a top portion movable within a limited range relative to the frame. The retainer is detachably mounted to the frame such that the top portion of the first pin receptor protruding through an aperture in the retainer, and the base portion of the first pin receptor is below the aperture. A pin is received by the top portion of the first pin receptor and a second pin receptor included in a cab, rendering the cab tiltable relative to the frame about the pin. The aperture of the retainer and the base portion of the first pin receptor are each configured such that the base portion cannot pass through the aperture.

  • Patent number: 9342091
Abstract: A control grip is disclosed for off-road vehicles that functions as a combined stabilizing support and multi-function implement control device for the vehicle operator. The control grip includes a structural frame providing a mounting base with upright supports for a grab bar. The control grip mounts various control switches, which can vary in quantity, configuration, position and function depending on the work vehicle type. In one configuration, a pair of control switches are mounted at the distal end of the control grip, one switch positioned for manipulation by the operator's thumb for controlling a first range of motion of the implement, and a second switch positioned to be manipulated by the operator's thumb and/or index finger for controlling the implement's second range of motion. The control switch placement enables the operator to actuate one or both of the switches while maintaining a firm grip on the grab bar during operation.

  • Publication number: 20040118780
Abstract: A water purification system and method for producing high-purity, laboratory-quality product water from feed water containing a concentration of dissolved ions and other contaminants. The water purification system includes a reverse osmosis unit and a capacitive deionization module positioned in a recirculation path coupling a concentrate outlet of the reverse osmosis unit in fluid communication with a feed water inlet of the reverse osmosis unit. The capacitive deionization unit removes dissolved ions from the concentrate stream, which is admixed with feed water provided to the feed water inlet of the reverse osmosis unit. A permeate outlet of the reverse osmosis unit outputs a stream of the high-purity product water to be, for example, stored in a storage tank.
