  • Publication number: 20240149119
Abstract: A golf club head has a body defining a crown opening and a sole opening, a forward portion of the crown opening having a lip recessed below an outer surface of the crown and extending rearwardly. A composite crown insert is connected to the lip and covers the crown opening. A ratio of an outer surface area of the body and a combined outer surface area of the crown and sole inserts is less than 0.9. The club head has a crown height as measured relative to a ground plane at address, and there is a first crown height at a face-to-crown transition zone, a second crown height at a crown-to-skirt transition zone, and a maximum crown height that is greater than the first and second crown heights, the maximum crown height being located on the crown insert at or rearward of the lip.

  • Publication number: 20210268766
Abstract: A composite includes a first layer of a first fluoropolymer; a second layer of at least one ply of a reinforcing fabric overlying the first layer; and a third layer of a second fluoropolymer overlying the second layer opposite to the first layer, wherein the first layer, the third layer, or combination thereof have an outer surface that is defect free; wherein the composite has a continuous length of at least about 3 meters. Embodiments of such composites can find applications, for example, as processing aids for an electronic device, a food, a polymer, insulating an electrical device, or heat sealing a polymer.

  • Patent number: 10751973
Abstract: A composite fabric laminate can include an open mesh fabric, a first continuous film comprising a fluoropolymer, and a second continuous film comprising a fluoropolymer. The fluoropolymer of the first continuous film and the fluoropolymer of the second continuous films can be in direct contact with one another. A method of forming a composite fabric laminate that includes disposing an open mesh fabric between a first continuous film and a second continuous film, each comprising an at least partially unsintered fluoropolymer film, to form a composite; laminating the composite at a pressure of at least 100 psig and a temperature of no greater than 350° C.; and sintering the laminated composite to form the composite fabric laminate.
