  • Publication number: 20240153774
Abstract: A method of doping a substrate may include exposing a substrate surface of the semiconductor substrate to a plasma clean, performing a deposition of a dopant layer on the substrate surface using a plasma source, after the plasma clean, the dopant layer comprising a dopant element; and exposing the substrate to an implant process when the dopant layer is disposed on the substrate surface, wherein the implant process introduces an ion species comprising the dopant element into the substrate, wherein the substrate is maintained under vacuum over a process duration spanning the plasma clean, the deposition of the dopant layer, and the implant process, and wherein at least a portion of the dopant layer is implanted into the substrate during the implant process.

  • Publication number: 20080221253
Abstract: The lipophilic properties of an ethylenically unsaturated water-soluble polymerizable sulfonic acids are improved by forming a salt thereof with a lipophilic amine. Such salts are readily polymerized in an emulsion or solution process.

  • Patent number: 6271184
Abstract: A copolymer comprising units derived from (a) methaciylic acid esters containing from about 9 to about 25 carbon atoms in the ester group and (b) methacrylic acid esters containing from 7 to about 12 carbon atoms in the ester group, said ester groups having 2-(C1-4 alkyl)-substituents, and optionally (c) at least one monomer selected from the group consisting of methacrylic acid esters containing from 2 to about 8 carbon atoms in the ester group atoms and which are different from methacrylic acid esters (a) and (b), vinyl aromatic compounds, and nitrogen-containing vinyl monomers with the proviso that no more than 60% by weight of the esters contain not more than 11 carbon atoms in the ester group. Also described are additive concentrates and lubricating oil compositions containing the copolymers and processes for preparing copolymers.

  • Patent number: 5747433
Abstract: A composition of about 2 to about 20 percent of a hydrogenated diene/vinyl aromatic block copolymer and a non-ionic surface active agent, soluble in said oil, comprising at least one ester or ether group, in a medium of oil of lubricating viscosity, exhibits reduced viscosity compared with comparable compositions without the surface active agent.

  • Patent number: 5399275
Abstract: A lubricant composition having improved viscosity index characteristics is described that comprises(A) at least one vegetable or synthetic triglyceride oil of the formula ##STR1## wherein R.sup.1, R.sup.2 and R.sup.3 are aliphatic hydrocarbyl groups having at least 60 percent monounsaturated character and containing from about 6 to about 24 carbon atoms and further wherein an oleic acid moiety:linoleic acid moiety is from about 2 up to about 90 and(B) at least one mixed ester of a carboxy-containing interpolymer.Optionally, the composition may also contain(C) a synthetic ester base oil, and(D) an antioxidant.
