An arm is pivotably connected to the frame, and a gripping member is selectively moveable along a length of the arm. The gripping member is configured to be selectively positioned to secure the bicycle on the carrier. In some embodiments, the wheel well includes terraced sidewalls adapted to secure tires having different widths. In some embodiments, an upper rim portion of the wheel well assembly is longitudinally asymmetrical.
