  • Patent number: 11948148
Abstract: A method including receiving a request based on a sender initiating a funds transfer, wherein the funds transfer is for the sender to make a payment to a non-financial institution. The sender has a sender account at a sender financial institution. The method also can include obtaining sender identifying information from the sender. The method additionally can include sending at least a recipient public identifier and a payment amount for the payment to the sender financial institution to cause the sender financial institution to send a funds transfer request to a computer-implemented funds transfer network to initiate the payment from the sender account at the sender financial institution to a recipient account at a recipient financial institution. The funds transfer request does not include an account number of the recipient account. The computer-implemented funds transfer network is operated by an entity that is different from the recipient financial institution and the sender financial institution.

  • Publication number: 20240097904
Abstract: Systems, computer program products, and methods are described herein for virtualization of non-fungible tokens. The present invention is configured to receive, via a first user input device, a resource transfer request using a virtual token from a first user, wherein the virtual token is electronically linked to an NFT of a resource transfer instrument; retrieve the NFT associated with the resource transfer instrument in response to receiving the resource transfer request; retrieve an NFT credential descriptor for the resource transfer request from a first metadata layer of the NFT associated with the resource transfer instrument; receive an authentication credential from the first user; determine whether the authentication credential matches an NFT credential descriptor that is electronically linked to the NFT associated with the resource transfer instrument; and authorize the resource transfer request based on at least determining that the authentication credential matches an NFT credential descriptor.

  • Publication number: 20240081998
Abstract: The present disclosure relates generally to the field of medical devices for treating heart disease. In particular, the present disclosure relates to medical devices, systems, and methods for delivering artificial chordae tendineae in a patient. A system for delivering a chordae tendineae into a heart may include a delivery catheter. A clamp catheter may be configured to translate through the delivery catheter. A spreader may be disposed on the clamp catheter. A first clamp may be at least partially contained in the spreader in a closed configuration and may be attached to the chordae tendineae. An anchor catheter may be configured to translate through the delivery catheter and may have an anchor attached to the chordae tendineae. A sheath may be extended over the anchor catheter and anchor and may be configured to restrain an arm of the anchor.

  • Publication number: 20240078547
Abstract: A method including sending a registration request comprising a public identifier of a user to a computer-implemented funds transfer network to cause the computer-implemented funds transfer network to send a message to the user using the public identifier of the user to perform a validation that the public identifier is usable to contact the user. The registration request is a request to register an account of the user for real-time payments through the computer-implemented funds transfer network. The method also can include sending a confirmation message to the computer-implemented funds transfer network to validate that the public identifier is usable to contact the user and to cause the computer-implemented funds transfer network to register the user by storing a record in a directory of the computer-implemented funds transfer network that associates the public identifier with a private identifier. The private identifier is associated with the account of the user.

  • Patent number: 11893587
Abstract: Enhanced authentication at resource event apparatuses of a card device and, in some instances, the user of the card device. Card device-specific Non-Fungible Tokens (NFTs) are generated and, in some instance, user credential-specific NFTs are generated. The NFTs are stored within a distributed ledger of a distributed trust computing network, which provides verification as the uniqueness and authenticity of the NFTs. Once a resource event is initiated at a resource event apparatus, card device-related information and, in some instance, user credential-related information is received, and the information is compared to the corresponding NFT as a means of authenticating the card device and, in some instances, the card device and the linked user of the card device. As a result, the use of imitation card devices is prevented and, in some instances, the identity of the user of the card device is authenticated and deemed to be linked to the card device.

  • Patent number: 11785018
Abstract: Systems, computer program products, and methods are described herein for securely managing device communication. The present invention may be configured to provide, to another system, staging information including a digital certificate, a PIN, and a protocol for storing on a device, receive from the device a request to connect to an internal network after user input of the PIN, receive a digital certificate from the device, establish a wireless connection between the device and the internal network, and cause the device to delete the PIN. In some embodiments, the system is configured to permit communication from the device to the other system for a predetermined time window. In some embodiments, the system receives updates from the other system, via an external network, and the system sends the updates to the device, via the internal network.

  • Publication number: 20230287167
Abstract: A method of preparing a polyisobutylene-based polyurethane for making heart valves is disclosed, wherein the method includes providing a polyisobutylene (PIB) polymer, freshly distilling a diisocyanate compound to create a freshly distilled diisocyanate and providing a chain extender. When the polyisobutylene polymer, the freshly distilled diisocyanate, and the chain extender are combined together by mixing, the created polyisobutylene-based polyurethane exhibits a higher number average molecular weight, a higher ultimate strength, a higher elongation, and a greater toughness than a polyisobutylene-based polyurethane made without a freshly distilled diisocyanate, which makes the polymer particularly useful as a bioprosthetic heart valve.
