  • Patent number: 7162686
Abstract: A method for navigating search results includes identifying a first occurrence and a second occurrence of at least one search term in a document. The method also includes generating a web page comprising at least a portion of the document. The first occurrence appears as a hyperlink in the web page. The hyperlink is associated with a position of the second occurrence. The method further includes communicating the web page for display to a user.

  • Publication number: 20060154607
Abstract: A method is described that enables a system to estimate the individual times of arrival of multi-path signals components in a received signal while blind to the particular angular response characteristics of an antenna array. Additionally, a system is described that estimate the impulse response of the modulation channel. The impulse response is used to generate impulse response estimates for all multi-path signal components without reference to the actual angle of arrival of the signal. The impulse response for the multi-path constituents are directly associated with the time delays on each path, providing delay estimates for each path.

  • Publication number: 20050031242
Abstract: A roller and cage assembly comprising a base surface having an inner circumferential edge and an outer circumferential edge. A plurality of inner wall segments extending from the inner circumferential edge with an opening provided between adjacent inner wall segments. A plurality of outer wall segments extending from the outer circumferential edge with an opening provided between adjacent outer wall segments. The inner and outer wall segments extend perpendicular to the base surface with the respective inner and outer openings aligned to define roller pockets positioned between the inner and outer wall segments. A plurality of rollers are positioned in the roller pockets. A plurality of retention tabs extend from the inner or outer wall segments parallel to the base and are aligned with the roller pockets such that the tabs axially retain the rollers.

  • Patent number: 6367658
Abstract: A coin/credit-card/debit-card and credit card activated windshield washer fluid dispensing system that is economically constructed with a minimum number of electrical components, and which is particularly suitable for retrofitting to existing housings built for other dispensing purposes. Through use of the present invention an operator can neatly transfer a metered amount of windshield washer fluid directly into a motor vehicle windshield fluid reservoir under low pressure without the use of a funnel. The system can be used as a stand-alone unit or combined in a housing with other automotive-related systems, such as air/vacuum service units. A first preferred embodiment comprises a timer, pump, and solenoid all operating under standard current whereby upon opening the solenoid and pump activation, windshield washer fluid is transferred from a tank to a low pressure regulator for a pre-determined amount of time.

  • Patent number: 5859885
Abstract: A functional approach to an information display system that enables a fast and easy understanding of the status of a complex process. The display screen is organized by process goals. Each process goal is then tied to a number of process objectives which directly relate individually to the goals. The objectives are in turn tied to the process functions which must be substantially maintained in order to achieve the respective objectives. A display of control functions related to each process function is mapped onto the regional displays. The individual display elements use a combination of coded background color, border color and other indicia of information, e.g., mimics, meters, etc. to present a significant amount of information about the status of the process and its components in a manner that is readily absorbed and easily understood.
