  • Publication number: 20240157685
Abstract: The present disclosure related to a multilayer composite that may include a first polymethylpentene (TPX) liner, and a silicone-based foam layer overlying the first TPX liner. The silicone-based foam layer may include a component A and a component B, where the component A may include a silicone-based matrix component, a first filler component that may include alumina trihydrate, a second filler component that may include perlite, and a third filler component that may include calcium carbonate, and where the component B may include a silicone-based matrix component, a first filler component that may include alumina trihydrate, a second filler component that may include perlite, a third filler component that may include calcium carbonate, and a fourth filler component that may include zinc borate. The silicone-based foam layer may have a V-0 flammability rating as measured according to ASTM D3801.

  • Patent number: 11911254
Abstract: A surgically implanted occluding assembly comprises an implant body having a longitudinally split generally ā€œCā€-shaped cross-section tube circumscribing an anatomical lumen. In one embodiment, the surgically implanted occluding assembly is a male continence device selectively occluding a urethra. In some embodiments an occluding magnet is rigidly affixed with the implant body, and an external selective occlusion control assembly is used to selectively activate the surgically implanted occluding assembly. The external assembly has a magnet, and body supporting the magnet. The external selective occlusion control assembly is configured to be selectively placed and retained adjacent to the surgically implanted occluding assembly.

  • Patent number: 5833851
Abstract: A screw press separator is provided herein for separating and deliquifying a slurry of solids and liquids e.g., a slurry of manure and water, or any other slurry of similar physical characteristics. The separator includes a cylindrical housing having a slurry inflow port. A cylindrical strainer basket extends rearwardly from the housing for the passage of separated liquid therethrough. A cylindrical discharge chamber extends rearwardly from the outlet end of the strainer basket to define a solids discharge opening. A motor driven auger is disposed within the housing and the strainer basket, the auger including a shaft extending through the housing, through the strainer basket and through the cylindrical discharge chamber, for driving the auger for advancing the slurry rearwardly within the cylindrical housing. A spring-loaded door assembly which is connected to the shaft, is provided at the exit of the cylindrical discharge chamber.
