  • Patent number: 5175911
Abstract: A replacement fastener for use with a female snap member to provide a snap fastener. The male snap member is formed of an acetal resin which is tough and resilient and has its own self-lubricating properties. The male fastner has a flange with a button on one side adapted to engage in the socket of the female snap and has an anchor portion adapted to be firmly anchored in a boat structure in the precise location where the conventional male fastener was located.

  • Patent number: 4501500
Abstract: A paint cup adapted to be carried by a spray gun for use with coating materials requiring stirring to prevent separation. A reservoir is closed by a cover member which is mounted on the spray gun and, which in turn, mounts an agitator which projects into the reservoir. The agitator is driven by compressed air admitted to an impeller housing on the cover member. The reservoir is sealed except for means to introduce air to replace the coating material used in operation, and in this invention the air is introduced primarily through a separate check valve. Discharge ports in the impeller housing are made sufficiently large to assure at least atmospheric pressure in the reservoir. A separate check valve is provided to maintain the pressure within the reservoir at atmospheric pressure while preventing material leakage from the reservoir. The design of the cover assembly and its controls ensures easy flushing of the components with or without disassembly.

  • Patent number: 4184778
Abstract: Cup apparatus for use with a spray gun for paints in which the cup has a cover incorporating an impeller for an agitator for stirring the contents of the cup. The impeller is driven by the air supply which is used to generate the spray and the exhaust from the impeller is partially discharged through the cup in a manner to avoid collection of paint in the moving parts.
