  • Publication number: 20240165872
Abstract: The present invention relates to powder-layer three-dimensional printers (2) having a discrete supply hopper (340) and a recoater (20). The discrete supply hopper (340) is configured to transfer a build powder to the recoater (20) in a manner that enhances the uniformity of build powder layers that are dispensed from the recoater (20). In some embodiments, at least one of the discrete supply hopper and the powder hopper of the recoater is adapted to selectively contact the other, seal against the other, and/or have one partially inserted inside the other so as to diminish or prevent powder pluming during the transfer of build powder from the discrete supply hopper to the recoater.

  • Publication number: 20240092054
Abstract: A thermoplastic film which exhibits elastic-like behavior along at least one axis when stretched or elongated and then released. The thermoplastic film comprises a plurality of raised rib-like elements extending in a direction perpendicular to a main surface of the thermoplastic film. The thermoplastic film further includes a plurality of web areas positioned about the plurality of raised rib-like elements. The plurality of raised rib-like elements and plurality of web areas are arranged in a complex pattern. The complex pattern provides visual and tactile cues as the films are stretched or elongated. The complex pattern can cause the thermoplastic film to have a complex stretch profile.

  • Publication number: 20100192193
Abstract: Various technologies and techniques are disclosed for restricting security levels that can be used with browser-based applications. When a request is received from an external application to retrieve data for use in a client browser, an intersection is performed on a permission set of a user of the client browser and of the external application to determine a new permission set to use for retrieving the requested data. Techniques for restricting operations of an external application that is being run in a client browser are also described. A session token is returned to a client browser after validating access can be granted to the client browser. Validation is performed to confirm access can be granted to an external application. A request for data is received from the external application, with the request for data containing the session token. The requested data is retrieved and returned to the external application.

  • Patent number: 5184442
Abstract: An expansion joint for joining first and second adjacent segments of direct glue down carpet mounted on respective underlying adjacent first and second floor segments. A first subchannel is mounted in the first floor segment along a joint line of the adjacent first and second carpet segments and a second subchannel is mounted in the second floor segment along the joint line of the adjacent first and second carpet segments in parallel relative moveable relation to the first subchannel. A first cover supports the first of the carpet segments on the first subchannel and a second cover supports the other of the adjacent carpet segments on the second subchannel.

  • Patent number: 5163733
Abstract: A seating cluster for airport and similar seating areas which includes a table for being positioned on a supporting surface, and eight seats attached to and supported by the table in spaced-apart relation to each other about the perimeter of the table in spaced-apart relation above the supporting surface thereby by defining a luggage storage area underneath the seat bottom. Each of the seats has a seat bottom having a front edge, opposed sides and a seat back. Each of the eight seats is attached to the table adjacent its respective inner side with the front of their respective seat bottoms positioned at an obtuse angle to the front of a seat bottom of a side adjacent seat whereby each seat and its respective side adjacent seat is angled slightly to each other to facilitate conversation by occupants.

  • Patent number: 4530509
Abstract: A sled having a planar platform with tubular runners mounted for pivoting and sliding at points fore and aft of the platform. Because the runners can pivot and slide at the fore and aft points, the entire length of the runner can be bowed for increased maneuverability. The runners are of low friction plastic tubing for speed and are mounted by means of clips which allow for sliding, pivoting, and easy replacement of the runners.
