Patent number: 11976969Abstract: Provided is a gyroscope stabilized gimbal assembly for collecting and timestamping video data and laser measurement data. The assembly can be used on multiple platforms and provides an ISR video camera system and one or more laser measurement devices, including photodetectors, thermopiles, filters, and analog to digital converters. The components are mounted to a bracket that can be installed and removed from the assembly to collect/record measurement data from the devices interacting with the laser beam. A processor collects and records measurement data from the devices interacting with the laser beam and calculates optical power data, irradiance data, and wavelength data. A storage device stores a first set of data comprising video data from said camera system and a second set of data comprising optical power data, irradiance data, and wavelength data, wherein said first and second set of data are timestamped, separated, and not comingled.Type: GrantFiled: May 15, 2023Date of Patent: May 7, 2024Assignee: The United States of America, as Represented by the Secretary of the NavyInventors: Marshall A. Mullins, Charles R. Upton, Tyler Fitzsimmons, Joseph Morris

Publication number: 20050274153Abstract: Garments designed for use by people with sensitive skin, such as those suffering from eczema or dermatitis, which enhance wearer comfort are described. The garments have a lower coefficient of friction and superior moisture transport properties relative to conventional cotton T-shirts currently recommended for wear by sensitive skin sufferers. The garments are made from polyester fabrics which are specially constructed to minimize the coefficient of friction, optimize moisture transport, and provide antimicrobial characteristics. Fabrics and methods or making and using the fabrics are also described.Type: ApplicationFiled: February 28, 2005Publication date: December 15, 2005Inventors: Joseph Mullins, Jerome Marella

Publication number: 20050040228Abstract: A financial transaction system that does not require the need for cash, checks or credit cards to carry out financial transactions. In return for prepayment of specified sum, a bar coded wristband is issued to a customer. On issuance of the wristband, a data base record is created that is cross-referenced with the bar code number, as well as an account number, an issue date and a present balance of the account. When the user wishes to purchase goods or services, the bar code of the wristband is scanned, and the amount of the transaction is then placed into the system. The corresponding account is debited. The wristband is constructed so as to be waterproof, and includes an adhesive strip with small tear strips for fastening around the user's wrist. An attempted removal of the wristband is effective to substantially destroy it and render it unusable to other persons.Type: ApplicationFiled: September 27, 2004Publication date: February 24, 2005Inventors: Joseph Mullins, Donald Mills
