  • Publication number: 20140330255
Abstract: A disposable male catheter system includes a catheter to be inserted into the urethra of the penis. The catheter has a proximal end to discharge urine into a bag, a distal end to be inserted into the bladder and holes formed in the distal end to receive urine. A sleeve is disposed on and is harder than the catheter. The sleeve is slid along with the catheter within the urethra to a clamping region. A clamp is clamped over the penis at the clamping region to prevent urine from leaking around the catheter.

  • Patent number: 7997509
Abstract: A portion-controlled dispensing straw assembly includes inner and outer telescoping tubes. The outer tube has an upper edge and a lower edge, and the inner tube has an upper edge, a lower edge and an interior chamber for receiving a substance to be dispensed. A seal is disposed within and attached to the outer tube, below the inner tube, for preventing the substance from exiting the interior chamber in a substance-retaining condition. A cap has a lower edge resting on the upper edge of the inner tube in the substance-retaining condition. The cap, upon being depressed, pushes the inner tube within the outer tube to break the seal and allow the substance received in the interior chamber to fall out of the tubes in a substance-releasing condition. The cap, upon being removed, also opens a passage allowing the tubes to be used as a straw.

  • Publication number: 20080035185
Abstract: An apparatus for cleaning a paint roller includes a container having a top with an insertion opening for introducing a paint-carrying surface of the paint roller into the container and a bottom with a discharge opening for discharging paint out of the container. A spray pipe has holes formed therein for directing water toward the paint-carrying surface within the container. The spray pipe rotates and the paint roller is movable vertically, for washing paint off substantially all of the paint-carrying surface and out of the discharge opening.

  • Patent number: 5662032
Abstract: A juicer attachment for a blender is disclosed. Blenders include a motor, a blade member having a bore and being driven by the motor, and a jar protruding into the bore of the blade member. The juicer attachment has a hollow base with a side wall and a lip for securing the juicer attachment to the blender by disposing the base in the bore of the blade member with the lip of the base being in contact with the jar. The juicer attachment also includes a hollow filter disposed in the jar. The filter has perforations and at least one step forming a lower side wall and an upper side wall. The side wall of the base is coupled with the lower side wall of the filter. The juicer attachment further includes a lid with a bore and a step forming a lower side wall. The lower side wall of the lid is coupled with the upper side wall of the filter.
