A supply line connector assembly is securable to the mounting panel through the supply line opening and enables selective orientation of a tailpiece for connection to the supply line. An outlet end of the supply line connector assembly provides a threaded coupling to which a valve or hose may be coupled. The panel assembly may be provided in plate or box configuration.

Abstract: A connector for attaching a piece of flexible tubing to a pair of parallel brackets includes an arcuate bend support, front and rear clamping members, and at least one fastener interconnecting the front and rear clamping members. The clamping members are positioned on opposite sides of the brackets. The bend support includes a head rotatably received in a receiver in the rear clamping member. The head includes a collet sized to receive the tubing. A wedge is formed on the front clamping member in a position to engage the collet. As the fastener is tightened, the clamping members are drawn against the brackets and the wedge engages the collet to constrict the collet inwardly against the tubing.

Abstract: An offset tube clamp includes a base having a pair of feet with generally coplanar bottom surfaces and a notch between the feet. A post extends upwardly from the base, and at least one tube cradle is formed on the post at a position spaced apart from the base. The tube clamp further includes a nailway having a fastener receiving opening for receiving a fastener. The fastener receiving opening intersects the notch in the base. The tube clamp is alternatively mountable to a building member in either a first orientation with the bottom surfaces of the feet flush against a surface of the building member, and in a second orientation with the notch in the base receiving a corner of the building member.

Abstract: A breakaway closure member for removably covering an opening in a plumbing device, such as a laundry box, pressure test cap, floor drain, shower drain, closet flange, or the like includes a circular disc with a peripheral rim and a hollow nipple extending outwardly from the circular disc. The peripheral rim is connected to the plumbing device by a thin web or area of reduced thickness. The nipple is radially outwardly offset from the center of the disc so as to be generally adjacent or tangent to the peripheral rim. If the nipple is radially compressed, such as by squeezing with a pair of pliers, the peripheral rim is pulled radially inward in an area proximate the nipple, thereby creating a crack in the area of reduced thickness.

The test plug further includes a pair of alignment tabs which extending radially outward from the test plug above the elastomeric sealing ring.

Abstract: A clamp for mounting a tube to an angle bracket includes a primary mounting platform having a split ring mounted thereon for receiving the tube. First and second clips extend outwardly from the primary mounting platform. The first clip receives the edge of a first bracket flange and the second clip extends across the other bracket flange and engage the edge thereof. A lever arm extends outwardly from the split ring and a secondary mounting platform is formed on the lever arm. Third and fourth clips extend outwardly from the secondary mounting platform. The third clip is engages the edge of the first bracket flange and the fourth clip extends across the other bracket flange and engage its edge. Both the third and fourth clips include barbs so that the secondary mounting platform can be snapped onto the bracket to cinch the split ring around the tube.

A leg extends outwardly from the back proximate the base end thereof is more flexible than the back and bendable relative thereto. An opening is defined between a distal end of the claw and the leg. The leg is bendable between a normal position and a pipe admitting position wherein the leg is bent outwardly away from the claw, in the normal position the opening is substantially narrower than the outside diameter of the pipe and in the pipe admitting position the opening is at least as wide as the outside diameter of the pipe.

The end tabs are bendable relative to the center section. The center section has opposed first and second edges with a plurality of pipe receiving notches formed in the first edge. The center section further includes a row of longitudinally spaced pipe receiving holes. The center section is made more rigid than the end tabs by first and second ribs. The first rib comprises a flange formed along the second edge of the bracket and the second rib comprises an elongate longitudinal bulge formed in the body between the bases of the pipe receiving notches and the row of pipe receiving holes.

Abstract: A thermal expansion arrester for positioning within the tank of a water heater comprises a rigid tube maintaining a compressible volume of gas between first and second closure members wherein at least one of the closure members comprises a piston that is slidably and sealingly secured within the tube. In a preferred embodiment both closure members comprise pistons held in the tube by crimping its ends. In an uncompressed state the pressure of the gas within the tube is sixty psig.
