  • Publication number: 20240176092
Abstract: An optical mount assembly includes a first plate configured to mount one or more optical components and a second plate arranged adjacent to the first plate and comprising a cavity formed therein. The first plate has an opening formed therein. The optical mount assembly further includes at least one adjustment mechanism secured to the first and second plates for adjusting the optical component(s). The adjustment mechanism(s) includes a ball bearing disposed within the cavity. The ball bearing defines a through hole. Further, the adjustment mechanism(s) includes an adjustment fastener extending through the opening in the first plate and at least partially within the through hole of the ball bearing.

  • Patent number: 10466430
Abstract: An apparatus for aligning a fiber optic connector with a detector or an emitter in a housing includes a stationary base mountable on the housing, a mobile stage movable relative to the stationary base, and spring-loaded adjustment screws on the stationary base oriented orthogonally relative to one another to adjust a position of the mobile stage in x and y directions. The stationary base and mobile stage include central openings that allow the adjustment mechanism to be positioned around the fiber optic connector. The stationary base and mobile stage also include lateral slots extending inwardly from their respective peripheral edges to their respective central openings to allow passage of a fiber optic cable when positioning or removing the apparatus.

  • Patent number: 9538872
Abstract: User-selectable volumes of a viscous condiment such as ketchup, mustard and mayonnaise are consistently dispensed from a pressurized vessel. The vessel is pressurized using a small air pump, a cylinder of compressed gas or an external gas source. Pressure in the vessel is kept constant by sensing the pressure using a MEMS pressure transducer. Condiment flows from the pressurized vessel into a flexible tube, which passes through an electrically-actuated pinch valve. For a given pressure in the vessel, the amount of condiment to be dispensed is determined by the time that the pinch valve is open. A processor monitors the pressure, actuation of a user interface and controls operation of the air pump.

  • Publication number: 20150233480
Abstract: A pressure regulating valve includes a valve body and a screen body. The screen body wraps around the valve body and joins itself at a screen joint for coupling the screen body to the valve body. A screen section defined on the screen body strains lubricant entering the valve body.

  • Patent number: 5379011
Abstract: A ceramic bandpass filter (10) with improved input/output isolation can be surface mounted. Input/output pads (18 and 2) through which electrical signals pass are located on one surface of a block of dielectric material (12) to permit use of the so-called surface mount manufacturing techniques. Slots in the sides of the block that preferably run between the input-output pads can reduce coupling between the input/output pads and permit adjustment of high-side transmission zeroes by changing the dimensions of the slots. No wired connections to the ceramic bandpass filter block are required.

  • Patent number: 5235135
Abstract: In-situ adjustments to frequency characteristics of an electronic device such as a piezoelectric element (40) can be accomplished by means of a predetermined atmosphere (18) enclosed within a package comprised of a base (12) and a cover (14) and an included amount of sputterable electrode material (22). By attachment of appropriate electric potentials (2), electrode molecules can be sputtered onto the electrode surfaces adjusting the resonant frequency characteristics of a crystal filter.
