  • Patent number: 7904332
Abstract: A library of available incentive programs is established for an agricultural product. Input is accepted from an agricultural producer or a crop planner to facilitate tailoring the library of incentive programs to the requirements (e.g., needs, objectives, and resources) of a particular producer. The library of available incentive programs is searched based upon the accepted input to select a tailored list of candidate incentive programs from the library. Information on the tailored candidate incentive programs is made accessible to the agricultural producer. The agricultural producer may select a preferential incentive program between or among the candidate incentive programs. Further, the producer may readily seek financing via electronic communications to purchase or otherwise conduct a transaction under the preferential incentive program. If the producer applies for a financial product for financing the transaction under the preferential incentive program, the previously gathered input (e.g.

  • Patent number: 4756246
Abstract: The disclosure describes in detail one of the most serious problems in connection with maintaining the operating life of print hammers at the high speeds of todays printers. Also described in detail is a structural arrangement to solve this problem without involving a major redesign of a print hammer module. A significant aspect of this solution is that a high speed print hammer is kept out of contact with structure that serves as a reservoir for the pivot pin lubricant.

  • Patent number: 4510862
Abstract: A strip assembly for a printing device having an endless type band frictionally driven by drive and idler pulleys between print hammers and a platen comprises a wear strip and wiper strip attached together at a common end. The wiper strip has a wiper portion extending from the point of attachment which terminates in a scraper edge. A retention device mounted in proximity with the drive pulley comprises means connectable to the common end to hold said wear strip under tension and said wiper strip in spring loaded condition with the scraper edge in contact with the drive surface of the drive pulley for cleaning wear strip residue and other deposits from the pulleys and the type band.
