    Abstract: An ultra performance yo-yo having greatly improved spinning characteristics formed of two sections made of it least two materials, so that a substantial portion of the weight of each section is located about a periphery of the section thereby maximizing the rotational inertia of the yo-yo, and an axle assembly positioned between the two sections locating them in a spaced apart relationship. A string finger guard is used with the yo-yo string, and comprises a flexible sleeve having a longitudinal aperture, with a flexible leash slidably positioned in the longitudinal aperture. The yo-yo string is coupled to the leash, and the flexible sleeve protects the player's finger from pinching and discomfort.

    Abstract: A frame, a drive mechanism for rotating a mandrel, at least two spindles mounted to the frame, a tensioner, and a belt extending between the first and second spindles may be used to roll pre-preg strips or similar sheets of composite materials around the mandrel. The belt travels over the spindles, and the spindles guide the belt through changes in its direction of travel. The mandrel is mounted in the drive mechanism in contact with the belt, which changes its direction of travel around the mandrel. The lower surface of the belt bears against upper portions of the spindles, and the mandrel contacts the upper surface of the belt. As the drive mechanism rotates the mandrel, pre-preg sheets are fed between the mandrel and the belt and are thereby wrapped around the mandrel. The belt presses the pre-preg sheets against the mandrel. The wrapped mandrel may then be removed from the apparatus and cured in any suitable manner known in the art to produce a composite tubular article.

It also includes bridle apparatus associated with the frame, the bridle apparatus having a horizontal line member connected to the leading edge support member, a left wing vertical line member connected to the left wing vertical support member, and a right wing vertical line member connected to the right wing strut member. The horizontal line member is connected to the left and right wing vertical line members at upper left and upper right control line contact points. The set of control lines includes an upper left line and an upper right line connected to the upper left and upper right control line contact points.
