  • Patent number: 10579362
Abstract: The invention relates to a computer implemented system that automates software ATM deployment and configuration. The innovative system initiates a software build process for one or more remote ATM devices; receives, from a remote ATM device, a self-identification request to retrieve configuration data specific to the requesting remote ATM device; accesses, at the datacenter, the configuration data for the remote ATM device from the standardized repository; transmits the configuration data; compares the self-identification request from the remote ATM device with the configuration data from the standardized repository; and remotely executes the software build process on the remote ATM device.

  • Patent number: 10409582
Abstract: The invention relates to a computer implemented system that automates ATM deployment. The innovative system comprises a datacenter that communicates via a communication network to a first plurality of remote devices, via a remote server, and to a second plurality of remote devices. The centralized server comprises: a phone home tool that receives a remote request from a remote ATM device and transmits, in response to the remote request, configuration data to the remote ATM device to initiate an automated software build; a retail event management tool that provides a user interface that integrates multiple backend systems to control operating software migrations; an ATM management tool that preloads the remote ATM device with software and patch management data; and a software policy tool that that standardizes disparate ATM models and manages multiple components of an ATM software build.

  • Patent number: 10360010
Abstract: The invention relates to a computer implemented system that automates ATM deployment. The innovative system identifies software installation data for one or more ATM remote devices; transmits the software installation data as a preload to the one or more ATM remote devices, prior to a software build; identifies an associated network segment of the one or more ATM remote devices; and identifies bandwidth data for the network segment relevant to software download progress.

  • Patent number: 10275780
Abstract: A method and apparatus are disclosed for transferring money representing a rebate from a retailer or manufacturer to a customer/recipient via an electronic mail message over a computer network such as the Internet. The recipient purchases, either conventionally or via an online store, a product for which an electronic rebate applies. In one embodiment, the recipient acquires the product through a conventional sale and requests a rebate online. Using the product's universal product code and serial numbers as identifiers, the sale is authenticated, and a transaction processor completes a funds transfer between the retailer or manufacturer and the recipient.

The method may comprise the steps of the sender identifying, to the server over the network, an amount of money to be transferred to the receiver and a withdraw account from which money is to be transferred. The method may further include transferring money from the withdraw account; the server sending an electronic message to the receiver over the network to inform the receiver that the sender is transferring money to the receiver and to request the receiver contact the server to receive money; the receiver contacting the server over the network in response to the electronic message and identifying a deposit account to which money is to be transferred. Further, the method may include transferring money to the deposit account.

  • Publication number: 20140046851
Abstract: A method and system for transferring money from a sender to a receiver utilizing a computer network such as the Internet. The sender visits a web site and identifies, to the server over the Internet, the receiver, an e-mail address of the receiver, an amount of money to be transferred, and a withdraw account from which money is to be transferred. Money is transferred from the withdraw account and deposited into a holding account. The server automatically sends an e-mail to the receiver to inform the receiver that the sender has transferred money and to request the receiver to visit the web site to receive money. The receiver visits the web site of the server in response to the e-mail and identifies a deposit account to which money is to transferred. Money is withdrawn from the holding account and deposited in the deposit account.
