  • Patent number: 5158492
Abstract: An automotive doll that is activated by light. The doll has at least two moving parts, preferably the head, arms and torso of a girl like figure. Within the torso of the doll is a motor that is connected to a plurality of gears and cams that are attached to the moving parts. The motor is preferably powered by batteries that are connected to a light sensor attached to the doll. The sensor switches on the motor when light is directed toward the sensor. When the motor is activated, the torso, arms and head all move relative to each other. The parts move through predetermined cycles, such that the head, arms and torso rotate back and forth between two positions. The drive mechanism is constructed and arranged so that each moving part rotates through a different cycle. Such an arrangement creates a doll that can move into an almost infinite variety of positions, greatly reducing the mechanical appearance of the toy.

  • Patent number: 5052973
Abstract: A toy car launcher includes a base which carries a combination of pulleys which cause a slide in an elongated track to be rapidly propelled down a track when a pair of handles are pulled. A car placed on the track is propelled by the slide down the track, gaining velocity until it exits the track and continues its travel. The track is hinged to ease transport and storage.

  • Patent number: 4697812
Abstract: A toy slot car system which simulates off-track racing. The system includes a track, toy vehicles and remote, hand-held controllers to permit each player to control the performance of a preselected vehicle. The track has coextensive, deep slots which have their sidewalls lined with electrical strip conductors, and the toy vehicles have a posts that are received in the deep slots and that carry electrical wipers at their lowermost ends. The surface of the track is rough and uneven with severe undulations which simulate off road conditions and which cause the toy vehicles to be jostled and thrown upwardly, above the track surface during races. Since the slots are quite deep and the electrical strip connectors are quite wide, the cars can bounce over the track and loose all wheel contact with the surface of the track, without loosing electrical continuity with the track, thus creating a realistic simulation of off-track racing.

  • Patent number: 4500104
Abstract: A child's combination toy comprising a bicycle, or tricycle, to the frame of which a seated doll is attached in front of the handlebars. The doll is seated with its hands grasping a miniature set of handlebars and its feet resting on a miniature set of pedals which are coupled to the cycle's front wheel by a gearing and friction-drive arrangement. The legs of the doll are flexible so that they are moved by means of the pedal action in correspondence with the action of the legs of the cycle's rider. The doll also turns in correspondence with the turning of the cycle's handlebars. The actions of the doll cause it to appear to be operating the cycle in conjunction with the actual operator.

  • Patent number: 4342175
Abstract: A two-wheeled motorcycle having a frame carrying a drive motor, a radio, a servo mechanism controlled by the radio, and a power source for driving the motor, radio, and servo. The servo mechanism includes a weight which may be moved to one side or the other of a generally vertical plane extending through the motorcycle when it is in an upright position. The steering crown is arranged so that a plane including the axes of the down tube and the fork is behind the main pivot. The axle of the front wheel is in the plane of the fork axes. The plane including these axes intersects the surface upon which the motorcycle rests at an angle in the range of about 20.degree.-25.degree. relative to vertical. The arrangement of the steering crown is such that, when the servo mcves the weight to one side of the generally vertical plane, the front wheel will tend to turn into the direction in which the weight is moved.

  • Patent number: 4333655
Abstract: A board game includes an upright playing surface representative of a mountain having trails or paths thereon with openings for releasably receiving playing pieces, there being missiles or other hazards slidably or movably related to the mountain and which are adapted to strike the playing pieces to physically knock them off of the mountain.
