Abstract: An assembly has a frame with two ends and two rails with a drop section generally centered, a base plate spanning the rails at the drop sections, a turn table upon the base plate, a pivot tray upon the turn table, linkages upon the pivot tray, sections operatively connected to the linkages, spring panels upon the sections, and a mattress upon the section. Senior citizens, patients, and disabled persons find difficulty to enter and to climb out of bed and may frequently require assistance. When this problem occurs, others must assist a person and the assistance varies depending on the person's size, weight and degree of mobility. The present invention adapts easily to most standard bed frames and allows a patient to rotate clockwise or counterclockwise and then to a sitting position.

Further, the platform may comprise at least one roller and a transmission connected to the at least one roller of the assembly, wherein rotation of the at least one roller causes the platform to move relative to the support frame. In another aspect of the present invention, a lift apparatus may include a telescoping platform. The present invention also contemplates a method of moving a wheelchair lift. Particularly, a wheelchair may be positioned such that at least one wheel of the wheelchair contacts a drive mechanism of a platform or a telescoping platform that are positioned at an initial position. Further, the at least one wheel of the wheelchair may be rotated to cause the platform or the telescoping platform to move relative to their initial positions.

A fluid housing is adjacent to and cooperates with the impeller housing to form a fluid chamber adjacent the impeller. An input passage to the fluid housing is perpendicular to and offset from the rotation axis and links an exterior of the slurry pump to the fluid chamber to permit fluid to enter the pump. An output passage from the fluid housing links the fluid chamber to an exterior of the pump to permit fluid to exit the pump. A feedback input passage links the output passage back to the fluid chamber to permit a portion of the fluid exiting the pump to reenter the fluid chamber, thus creating a dynamic and continual prime. The fluid housing includes a circular wall member with an input passage eccentrically located relative to the circular wall member and the rotation axis of the impeller.
