  • Publication number: 20220109781
Abstract: Certain examples relate to a method of color matching by confirming a color-rendering device. Color reproduction parameters are determined for a reference and target color-rendering device. A color matching parameter is determined for the target color-rendering device based on a comparison of the color reproduction parameter for the target color-rendering device with the corresponding color reproduction parameter of the reference color-rendering device. The color-rendering device is confirmed dependent on the color matching parameter. Color resources of the target color-rendering device are configured such that a rendering of a color image on the target color-rendering device replicates a rendering of the color image on the reference color-rendering device.

  • Patent number: 8619012
Abstract: A display element (100) corresponds to a pixel of a display. The display element includes a top electrode (102) connected to a first addressable line of the display, and a bottom electrode (104) connected to a second addressable line of the display. The display element includes a display mechanism (106) situated between the top electrode and the bottom electrode and having a number of individually turned-on steps. Each individually turned-on step has a turn-on voltage threshold at which the step is turned on upon a voltage applied between the top and the bottom electrodes equal to or greater than the turn-on voltage threshold. Each individually turned-on step has a turn-off voltage threshold at which the step is turned off upon a voltage applied between the top and the bottom electrodes equal to or less than the turn-off voltage threshold.

  • Patent number: 7567370
Abstract: A color display including: a stacked plurality of color layers, each layer being selectively reflective or absorptive of light in a different portion of the human visible spectrum; wherein, the layers are each configured as a plurality of independently addressable picture elements, at least some of the picture elements in at least one of the layers are superimposed in the stack over at least some picture elements in at least one other of the layers, and a resolution of the superimposed picture elements in the at least one of the layers is different from the resolution of the superimposed picture elements in the at least one other of the layers.

  • Patent number: 7029091
Abstract: An inkjet consumable cartridge having an inkjet cartridge having nozzles. The inkjet consumable cartridge also has an inkjet cartridge holding device for holding the inkjet cartridge, a cap configured to interface with the inkjet cartridge, and a cap actuator that, when actuated, moves the cap from a position where the cap does not interface with the inkjet cartridge to a position where the cap interfaces with the inkjet cartridge sealingly covering the nozzles. Furthermore, the consumable cartridge is removable from a printer as a self-contained unit.
