Abstract: The invention disclosed here is a data bus system integration tester designed specifically to be used in connection with testing digital autonomous terminal access communication (DATAC) buses. The tester is characterized in that it listens to the digital information broadcast by other terminals on the bus, and also has the capability of transmitting information to simulate transmitting terminals. The tester is a non-microprocessor based system.

Abstract: An automatic testing method and apparatus for proximity switches toggles a proximity switch while storing the initial state of the proximity switch until the toggling is successfully completed. Both the proximity switch position and the validity of the information are provided as outputs.

Abstract: Switches, manually operable to produce a desired logic signal level, are user assigned to represent the various variable inputs to a Boolean network. Indicators are user assigned to represent the logic state of outputs from the network. Process logic is user programmable to define the Boolean and sequential logic relationships between the assigned inputs and outputs. A visual display identifies to a user the input variable assigned to each switch and the logic output assigned to each indicator.A user may analyze the operation of the Boolean network being emulated by monitoring output indicator status in response to logic level inputs selected by the switches.
