Abstract: Embodiments include methods, systems and computer readable storage medium for a method for utilizing a vehicle learn mode is disclosed. The method includes receiving, by a learn mode user interface, a selection to use a vehicle learn mode. The method further includes receiving, by the learn mode user interface, a request for information about a user control or vehicle feature for a vehicle. The method further includes obtaining, by the learn mode user interface, the information from an electronic owner's manual for the vehicle. The method further includes outputting, by an audio system or a visual display, the information to a user.

Abstract: The present invention provides a method for conducting an auction in which an individual's time is monetized for bidding purposes. The inventive method generally includes the steps of providing a plurality of auction items upon which bidders may bid, and accepting bids from various bidders on the plurality of auction items. In accordance with the present invention, the bids include amounts of service hours that a bidder will work for one or more of a plurality of preselect organizations. Additionally, the bid service hours of work must be performed within a preselect period of time, e.g., one year. At the conclusion of the auction, the auction items are awarded to respective bidders that bid the highest amount of service hours for each respective auction item. The highest bidder is only presented with its respective auction item if he or she completes the amount of service hours of work he or she bids in the preselect period of time.

Abstract: Two new cache control headers in the cache control header, “post-check” and “pre-check”, enable the display of content from the cache, with a later synchronization of the content performed in the background via a conditional request such as an IMS request. These headers enable the server to define a non-validate time period relative to the cached content's age in which the user will receive content from the cache, a background synchronization period in which the user will receive content from the cache and automatically queue a request for background synchronization thereof, and a validate period in which the cached content may or may not be used, depending on a response to a validation request sent to the server. The content is quickly rendered for the user in the non-validate and background synchronization periods, and the hit count is correct in the background synchronization and validate periods.
