  • Publication number: 20200340736
Abstract: A water dispenser for a refrigerator including a water discharge nozzle fluidly connected to a water source, a valve configured to selectively block the fluid connection, and an actuator operated to allow water to be dispensed. The water discharge nozzle is pivotally mounted to a surface of the refrigerator to pivot between a retracted position and an extended position. In the extended position, the water discharge nozzle is extended outwards beyond the surface of the refrigerator. The water discharge nozzle is biased towards one of the extended and retracted positions. The valve is configured to block the fluid connection between the water discharge nozzle and the water source when the water discharge nozzle is in the retracted position. When the water discharge nozzle pivots to the extended position, the valve is operated to enable fluid connection between the water discharge nozzle and the water source.

  • Patent number: 10808982
Abstract: A refrigerator appliance including a housing, a liner within the housing, a first door attached to the housing and pivotable about a vertical axis on one side of an opening to the compartment, and a second door attached to the housing and pivotable about a second vertical axis on an opposite side of the opening to the compartment. One of the first door and the second door includes a moveable mullion for sealing a gap between the first door and the second door when the first door and the second door are in a closed position. The moveable mullion includes a guide protrusion extending from one end thereof. The liner is configured to selectively receive one of a first guide plate and a second guide plate. Both the first guide plate and the second guide plate include a guide slot for receiving the guide protrusion of the moveable mullion.

  • Publication number: 20200162443
Abstract: Certain aspects involve facilitating the integration of sensitive data from a data provider into an instance of a web-based, third-party application. For example, a data provider service can receive an authentication API call from a third-party system. The authentication API call can include a user identifier and a request for an access token usable by a web-based interface of the third-party system. The data provider service can generate an access token for the third-party system from which the authentication API call is received. The data provider service can subsequently receive, from the user device, a feature API call including the access token and a feature request for sensitive data. The data provider service can generate output data specific to the user identified by the access token included in the feature API call. The data provider service can provide the output to the user device via the web-based interface.

  • Publication number: 20190228173
Abstract: In some aspects, a gateway server can unlock or unfreeze access to data about a user by third parties without requiring the user to navigate completely away from a third-party website through which the user is executing an electronic transaction. The gateway server can receive a request to unlock or unfreeze data through the third-party website hosted by a third-party web server. The gateway server can output a user interface that is displayable simultaneously with the third-party website. Through the user interface, the gateway server can receive sign-in data such as log-in credentials of the user and consent to share data about the user with the third-party web server. The gateway server can output a command to unlock or unfreeze data about the user and to share the data with the third-party web server. Based on the shared data, the transaction can be completed at the third-party web server.

  • Patent number: 10295248
Abstract: A refrigeration appliance includes a cabinet that defines a storage compartment. A door is pivotably coupled to the cabinet and is movable between a closed position for closing the storage compartment and an open position for allowing access to the storage compartment. The door includes an inner surface and an outer surface. An opening extends between the inner surface and the outer surface. A window is disposed within the opening. The window optionally includes a lower portion that is non-transparent. A storage bin is attachable to a lower portion of the inner surface of the door wherein the non-transparent portion of the window obstructs viewing of the storage bin when the door is in the closed position.
