  • Patent number: 11261999
Abstract: A fluid regulating device includes a valve having an inlet and an outlet and an actuator coupled to the valve and having a control assembly. The control assembly includes a control element and a diaphragm operably connected to the control element, the control element disposed within the valve and adapted to be displaced relative to a valve seat. A noise attenuation assembly is coupled to the outlet of the valve and includes a cylindrical body and at least one plate disposed in the cylindrical body, the at least one plate having an outer edge. An apparatus for retaining the noise attenuation assembly includes a plurality of rods coupled to the at least one plate. The plurality of rods includes at least one rod having a first end disposed through the outer edge of the at least one plate to support the noise attenuation assembly.

  • Patent number: 9739408
Abstract: Noise attenuation apparatus for fluid devices are disclosed herein. A noise attenuation apparatus includes a first plate having a plurality of first openings to reduce noise generated by a fluid flowing through a fluid device and a second plate having a plurality of second openings to reduce noise generated by the fluid. The second plate directly engages the first plate, and the first openings to at least partially align with the second openings when the first plate is in direct engagement with the second plate to define a flow passageway of the noise attenuation apparatus.

  • Patent number: 9534725
Abstract: Noise attenuation apparatus for pressure regulators are disclosed. An example apparatus includes a first noise attenuator disposed at a first position in a fluid passageway of a pressure regulator and a second noise attenuator disposed at a second position in the fluid passageway. The second position is spaced apart from the first position along the fluid passageway. The example apparatus also includes fasteners extending between the first noise attenuator and the second noise attenuator to position the first noise attenuator at the first position and the second noise attenuator at the second position. The fasteners are to couple to peripheral portions of the noise attenuators.
