  • Patent number: 10731336
Abstract: The present invention provides product, method and apparatus for designing and constructing three-dimensional models for use as acoustic panels. A preferred embodiment of the present invention provides a method and apparatus for designing and constructing three-dimensional models for use as acoustic panels. According to one aspect of the present invention, a method is provided which includes the steps of calculating dimensions and segments of a three-dimensional model based on detected acoustic properties of a room, characteristics of substrate materials, and dimensions of a selected substrate. According to a preferred embodiment, the material employed with the present invention may include materials such as cardboard, paper, acrylic, wood, and fabric. The final product of the present invention preferably has acoustic absorbing functions and may be hung on a wall or suspended in the middle of a room to provide noise reduction in an aesthetically appealing three-dimensional design.

  • Publication number: 20120010593
Abstract: A strategic nerve antidote pouch includes a backing, a loop panel secured to the backing, first and second straps secured to the backing, and an injector pouch member secured to the backing. The injector pouch member includes first, second, and third injector pouches that receive single nerve antidote injectors therein thereby providing the maximum allowable number of single nerve antidote injectors. The first, second, and third injector pouches provide a visual indication of the number of single nerve antidote injectors employed once a single nerve antidote injectors has been removed, injected, and discarded. The loop panel aids in preventing an accidental injection by a single nerve antidote injector, while the first and second straps along with the loop panel facilitate securing of the strategic nerve antidote pouch with a wearer's body.

  • Patent number: 7833385
Abstract: Processes for producing the monohydrate form of magnesium ammonium phosphate in slurry from use of environmentally friendly reactants are described. Slurry containing the monohydrate form of magnesium ammonium phosphate can be fed directly to, and mixed with, paper making feedstock, such as feedstock for cigarette paper, without transformation of the monohydrate form to the hexahydrate form of magnesium ammonium phosphate.

  • Publication number: 20080054013
Abstract: A vending machine includes a vend sensor for detecting a completion of a vend operation. The vend sensor includes an electronic circuit connected to first and second sound elements positioned on opposing sides of a product delivery chute of the vending machine. The first sound element directs a sound beam across the product delivery chute where it is received by the second sound element. During a vend operation, a product container is guided to the product delivery chute to be dispensed to a consumer. As the container passes through the product delivery chute, the sound beam is interrupted, thereby signaling the completion of a vend operation. Each of the first and second sound elements is provided with a cone that focuses the sound beam so as to limit interruptions stemming from outside sound sources.

  • Publication number: 20070108222
Abstract: A product delivery system for a vending machine includes first and second guide rails and a carriage rail. The guide rails are fixedly mounted in the vending machine spaced from and parallel to each other and extend along respective first and second axes. The carriage rail extends along a third axis and includes first and second ends that are slidably connected to the respective ones of the first and second guide rails. A carrier member is slidably mounted to the carriage rail for movement along the third axis. A first drive belt is coupled to the carriage rail and a first drive motor to selectively shift the carrier member along the third axis. A second drive belt, extending in multiple axes, is connected to each of the first and second ends of the carriage rail and a second drive motor. The second drive motor selectively shifts the carriage rail along the first and second axes upon driving the second drive belt.
