  • Publication number: 20240081740
Abstract: Fault detection and diagnostics for a microneedle array based continuous analyte monitoring device are provided. The electrochemical sensors, including the electrodes of the analyte monitoring device configured for measuring one or more target analytes, may experience various faults during use of the analyte monitoring device. By modeling the sensors as an electrical network, measurements of the electrical network may be correlated with operational parameters of the sensor. The voltage at the counter electrode provides an indication of the resistance or impedance between the working electrode and the counter electrode and is used to identify the occurrence of faults occurring at the continuous analyte monitoring device.

  • Patent number: 10052984
Abstract: Methods and apparatus are provided for an energy attenuating vehicle seating system that includes a seat configured for guided motion relative to a vehicle compartment over a stroking distance, and an energy attenuating component with a first end attached to the seat, a second end configured for attachment to the vehicle compartment, and an intermediate point configured for guided motion relative to the vehicle compartment. The energy attenuating component is configured to remain rigid and prevent the seat from moving under loads less than a predetermined threshold value, yet deform in a progressive, predictable manner in response to a load exceeding the threshold.

  • Patent number: 9132753
Abstract: Methods and apparatus are provided for an energy attenuating vehicle seat and seat extension. In one embodiment the seat and seat extension includes a substantially vertically oriented support column, at least one end of which is rigidly fixed to the vehicle structure. Upper and lower spaced apart seat mount bushings are attached to the seat and slidably mounted to the support column. An energy attenuating linkage connects the seat to the vehicle structure proximate an upper end of the support column. The seat may further include a seat extension platform pivotally connected at one end to the front of the seat, and the other end to an independent energy attenuating mount.

  • Patent number: 8403410
Abstract: A vehicle seat assembly includes a seat bottom, seat back, and occupant pack support. The seat bottom is adapted for use in a substantially horizontal position. The seat back resides adjacent the seat bottom, and comprises a back support surface adapted for use in a substantially upright position. The occupant pack support resides adjacent the back support surface of the seat back, and defines a generally flat inwardly-projecting shelf for vertically supporting an equipment pack carried on a back of an occupant seated in the assembly.
