  • Patent number: 11933976
Abstract: Systems and methods for tracking the position of one or more head-mounted display (HMD) system components of an HMD system. The HMD components may carry a plurality of angle sensitive detectors or other types of detectors. The HMD system may be operative to detect corrupted position tracking samples, allowing such samples to be ignored, thereby improving the position tracking process. Control circuitry causes light sources to emit light according a specified pattern, and receives sensor data from the plurality of detectors. Control circuitry may process the sensor data, for example using machine learning or other techniques, to track a position of one or more HMD components.

  • Patent number: 11913305
Abstract: A seal arrangement includes a body having a face seal, and a flexible arm extending from the body. The arm includes a contact seal. A flapper valve, includes a housing, a flapper and a flapper seat. The flapper seat includes a body having a face seal positioned to make sealing contact with the flapper in selected flapper positions A method for sealing a flapper valve includes closing a flapper toward a seat and making a seal, by deflecting a flexible arm of the flapper seat that supports a contact seal. A borehole system including a borehole in a subsurface formation, a string in the borehole, and a seal arrangement disposed within or as a part of the string.

  • Patent number: 10669539
Abstract: The disclosure generally relates to compositions, polynucleotides, kits, methods, and systems for generating clustered regularly interspaced short palindromic repeats (CRISPR) libraries. Disclosed are polynucleotides encoding for a constant region of a CRISPR single guide RNA (sgRNA) or CRISPR targeting RNA (crRNA) having a non-palindromic recognition site for a type II restriction enzyme oriented in a manner recognized by the type II restriction enzyme for cutting a site past an end of the polynucleotide. The methods include using the polynucleotide to prepare CRISPR libraries.

  • Patent number: 8756230
Abstract: A quality validation method to improve inspection and validation processes by increasing their quality, efficiency, and positive impact. This method automatically prompts operators at one or more validation stations to follow a validation path comprising one or more validation items configurable by part number. It allows for automatic or manual feedback on the result of each item checked, the ability to enforce a particular pack-out consist based upon user provided specifications, and the ability of historically storing inspection results comprising container, part and inspection item information and results. It additionally provides an easily accessible interface to configure validation items and areas by part number, configure validation paths comprising of a variable quantity and order of validation items, and obtain information in a variety of useful formats.
