Abstract: Systems and methods for presenting augmented reality (AR) or virtual reality (VR) representations of digital content entitlements owned by a user are provided. An AR or VR environment is generated in which the AR or VR representations are presented to simulate a physical collection of media. The user is allowed to interact with the AR or VR representations, thereby triggering one or more actions, such as presentation of the corresponding digital content, presentation of additional, related content, presentation of an option to engage in a purchase transaction for related content or products, etc.

Abstract: Systems and methods for synchronizing movement, such as the movement of a vehicle with an augmented reality (AR) or virtual reality (VR) story-telling or narrative experience is provided. For example, the AR or VR experience can be adapted to justify the movement of the vehicle based on trip criterion, such as a navigational path upon which the vehicle has embarked. Alternatively, trip criterion, such as the navigational path upon which the vehicle will embark, can be adapted to comport with one or more events of the AR or VR experience.

The disclosed methods and systems utilize a user's digital media library to create and/or simulate one or more broadcast channels for viewing by the user. Channels may be created randomly or according to particular preferences set by the user. In a further aspect, the disclosed methods and systems allow users to broadcast or share their channels with other users.

Abstract: There is provided a system having a memory and a processor to establish a viewing group having a plurality of users, provide an ordered list of a plurality of media contents, make a first media content in the ordered list of the plurality of media contents available for viewing by each of the plurality of users in the viewing group, track a viewing progress of the first media content by each of the plurality of users in the viewing group, and make a second media content in the ordered list of the plurality of media contents available for viewing by each of the plurality of users in the viewing group based on one or more rules related to the viewing progress of the first media content by each of the plurality of users in the viewing group.

Abstract: Systems and methods for sharing protected media content are provided. Protected media content can be shared when at least a first and second user are proximately located. The first and second user can be bound or paired based on one or more identification indicia associated with first and second user devices utilized, owned, or operated by the first and second users, respectively. Upon pairing, media content from the first and second users' media content libraries can be shared. Additionally, proximate location can be leveraged to surface media content to other users, giving such other users the opportunity to discover new media content, and otherwise engage in transactions involving the new media content. Further still, the most popular media content associated with the second user or group of users proximate to the first user can be determined and used to prompt further interaction or display information regarding such popular media content.
