  • Patent number: 5160706
Abstract: A device for introducing a hydrocarbon into a riser reactor containing a tubular diluent gas conduit having an interior surface and exterior wall surface where the interior wall surface is for passing a diluent gas into the reactor and two or more tubular hydrocarbon supply conduits, longitudinally perforated, arranged within the tubular diluent gas conduit where the longitudinal perforations are adapted to pass the diluent gas from the tubular diluent gas conduit into the tubular hydrocarbon supply conduit.

  • Patent number: 4961863
Abstract: An apparatus is disclosed for the separation of solids from a mixture of solids and fluid, comprising a housing defining a plurality of separation chambers, each chamber being arranged around a central longitudinal axes and having a curved inner wall such that the intersection of the inner wall and a plane perpendicular to the central longitudinal axes is a concave line, whereby all central longitudinal axes are in one plane, and each chamber having an inlet opening, a solids outlet opening and at least one fluid outlet opening, whereby each fluid outlet opening is in communication with a fluid outlet conduit, and whereby the solids outlet opening of each chamber is in communication with a solids outlet conduit which is in tangential cooperation with the chamber, which apparatus further comprises one supply conduit for the mixture of fluid and solids whereby the supply conduit debouches into a supply opening that is formed by the combined inlet openings of all chambers which openings are communicating with ea

  • Patent number: 4863500
Abstract: An apparatus suitable for solids-fluid separation (e.g. cracking catalyst/flue gas) is disclosed in which a housing encloses a first stage separation means which includes a feed inlet means which cooperate substantially tangentially with a hollow body having solids outlet means in its lower section. A fluid outlet means communicates with the hollow body with a plurality of annular inlet means of a second stage separation means. The annular inlet means are provided with swirl imparting means and are defined between the upper sections of a plurality of tubular elements and tubular fluid outlet means arranged such that the lower sections of the tubular fluid outlet means are substantially coaxial within the upper sections of the tubular members and the upper sections of the tubular fluid outlet means communicate with opening(s) in the upper section of the housing. Solids outlet means communicate with the lower sections of the tubular elements.
