  • Publication number: 20240168948
Abstract: Learned workload synthesis is disclosed. In an aspect of the present disclosure, a time series dataset corresponding to a target workload is received. A set of performance characteristics is determined from the time series dataset. A call is provided to a prediction model to determine a candidate query sequence based on the determined set of performance characteristics. A synthetic workload is generated based on the determined candidate query sequence. A synthetic workload is generated based on the determined candidate query sequence. A first similarity between a first performance profile of the synthetic workload and a second performance profile of the target workload meets a workload performance threshold condition. A performance insight is determined based on the synthetic workload. In a further aspect, the prediction model is trained to predict performance profiles based on workload profiles generated by executing benchmark queries using hardware and/or software configurations.

  • Patent number: 11989164
Abstract: A data dictionary generation system automatically populates and updates a data dictionary for listings offering shared data. A data dictionary includes metadata describing the shared data, including the individual objects, such as the individual tables, schemas, views, and functions. The shared data and each individual data object may be described in the data dictionary by a set of data fields that corresponds to the shared dataset or the object type of the individual object. The data dictionary can be presented to data consumers along with the description of the listing to provide data consumers with a comprehensive description of the shared data provided by a listing, including a high-level summary of the shared data and description of each individual object included in the shared data. The data dictionary allows data consumers to understand the contents of the shared data and how to use the shared data.

  • Publication number: 20240159871
Abstract: Unsupervised object detection from lidar point clouds includes forecasting a set of new positions of a set of objects in a geographic region based on a first set of object tracks to obtain a set of forecasted object positions, and obtaining a new LiDAR point cloud of the geographic region. A detector model processes the new LiDAR point cloud to obtain a new set of bounding boxes around the set of objects detected in the new LiDAR point cloud. Object detection further includes matching the new set of bounding boxes to the set of forecasted object positions to generate a set of matches, updating the first set of object tracks with the new set of bounding boxes according to the set of matches to obtain an updated set of object tracks, and filtering, after updating, the updated set of object tracks to remove object tracks failing to satisfy a track length threshold, to generate a training set of object tracks.

  • Publication number: 20240163618
Abstract: Disclosed herein are systems and methods for eardrum acoustic pressure estimation for hearing device applications. A receiver signal is produced through a receiver of a hearing device, or a physical extension of the receiver, placed inside an ear canal of a user. A microphone signal is sensed, in response to the receiver signal, using a microphone placed outside the ear canal. Based on the receiver signal and the microphone signal, a reliability signal of the microphone signal and a feedback-path signal are computed. A spectral representation signal of the feedback-path signal is computed, and a real-ear response signal is computed using a mathematical combination of the spectral-representation signal and the reliability signal. The computed real-ear response signal is used to modify an operational characteristic of the hearing device, or to make a recommendation for modification of an operational characteristic or a physical characteristic of the hearing device.

A tangle-proof propulsion system is provided, to propel the hull(s). A deployable sensor pod includes a water sensor for determining if the sensor pod is in water, a pressure sensor for determining depth of the sensor pod, and a plurality of sensors for measuring water conditions. An onboard controller operates a winch that raises and lowers the sensor pod while the controller and a GPS receiver log positions of the sensor pod. This three-dimensional environmental, physical and chemical water quality attribute data collection creates a digital twin of the body of water to establish a common data environment for water modeling and analysis.
