  • Publication number: 20210207896
Abstract: Circulation duct for conveying a fluid of a heat exchanger, and heat exchanger. The duct (1) comprises two surfaces (s1, s2), each with a plurality of protruding elements (p) which project inside the duct (1), and are arranged adjacent to one another, forming a row which includes protruding elements (p) with a different form, and extends in a longitudinal direction according to the main direction of circulation Y of the fluid circulating, such that the flow of fluid encounters protruding elements (p) which are different sequentially both in space, according to this longitudinal direction, and in time, thus generating a plurality of disordered current lines (L). The heat exchanger comprises circulation ducts for a fluid, at least one of which is formed according to the circulation duct of the present invention.

  • Patent number: 10126074
Abstract: The invention is related to a heat exchanger (1), which comprises: at least one column of parallel tubes (2) which are arranged in a stack and which define a longitudinal direction; a housing (3) inside which the tubes (2) are housed, the tubes (2) being separated from one another, so as to configure a channel for the passage of cooling fluid consisting of: passage sections (4) between tubes (2) that are contiguous in the direction of the stack; passage sections (5) between tubes and housing (3); and baffles (6, 7) that deflect the cooling fluid. According to the invention, the baffles are at least two lamellar bodies (6, 7) of a single piece arranged in a plane perpendicular to the longitudinal direction.

  • Patent number: 9791215
Abstract: A heat exchanger (1) for gases, in particular for the exhaust gases of an engine includes a bundle of tubes (2) arranged inside a casing (3) defining a gas inlet (4) and outlet (5). The tubes (2) being intended for the circulation of the gases with a view to exchanging heat with a coolant, and the tubes (2) being distributed in at least one column having a plurality of rows defining a plurality of spaces (8) between the rows, and including a coolant inlet pipe (9) and outlet pipe (10) connected to the casing (3). The exchanger (1) includes a bypass channel (11) incorporated into the casing (3) capable of connecting the spaces (8) defined between the rows of tubes (2) located in front of the channel (11) with one of the coolant pipes (10), in such a way as to improve the distribution of the coolant.

  • Publication number: 20150308387
Abstract: A gas heat exchanger for the exhaust gases of an engine including a plurality of parallel tubes that are arranged inside a casing and through which flow the gases to be cooled by heat exchange with a coolant, the coolant inlet and outlet conduits being each arranged at an opposing extremity of the casing on a single side of said casing, is disclosed. Each tube has a protuberance opposing the direction of the gases, it being possible to assemble said tubes by stacking them such that the protuberances of the respective tubes form a barrier, in the form of a deflector, intended to create a predetermined pathway guaranteeing an appropriate distribution of the coolant flow from the inlet of same to the outlet of same about the tubes and along the entire length of the exchanger. The distribution of the coolant flow passing through same is improved without the need for conventional deflectors.

  • Publication number: 20140345839
Abstract: A heat exchanger uses engine exhaust gases. The heat exchanger comprises a plurality of parallel tubes arranged inside a header and through which the gases to be cooled by exchange of heat with a coolant flow, and fins that disturb the flow of the gas and that are arranged inside each tube. The tubes and the header comprise a plurality of protrusions and respectively, the distribution pattern and dimensions of which are defined according to the dimensions of the tubes and of the header and which are able to guarantee suitable distribution of the compression between the header, the tubes and the fins relative to one another while the heat exchanger is being assembled and brazed in the furnace.
