    Abstract: Example embodiments relate to a method for cut-in identification and classification. An example embodiment includes a obtaining operational data about one or more vehicles; based on the operational data, identifying the presence of one or more cut-ins within the operational data; extracting, from the operational data, cut-in data that depicts one or more of the cut-ins identified within the operational data; and, based on the extracted cut-in data, training a model for controlling an autonomous vehicle. Identifying the presence of a given cut-in includes: determining that at least one vertex of a bounding box surrounding a vehicle was located more than a threshold distance within a lane being navigated by a given vehicle; and determining that the ability of the given vehicle to maintain its course and speed was impeded by the presence of the particular additional vehicle within the lane.

    Abstract: A method for obtaining a reinforced packaging paper by applying a residual fluid from the pre-treatment of lignocellulose waste with a water-alcohol mix to the packaging paper and the subsequent drying thereof. The residual fluid has a solid fraction in suspension of 1-70% by weight/volume relative to the total, with lignin and lignin-carbohydrate complexes; and a liquid fraction of 30-99% by weight/volume relative to the total, containing between 0.04 and 2.07 g/L glucose, between 0.31 and 14.57 g/L xylose, between 0.09 and 3.46 g/L arabinose, between 0.083 and 12.40 g/L acetic acid, and between 0.004 and 8.73 g/L furfural. The method improves the efficiency of the cellulose pulp residual fluids in the process of reinforcing a packaging paper, and is suitable for all types of raw cardboard or paper.

The identified fruit is automatically expelled from the conveyor in an expulsion unit, the position of the defective fruit being determined with the aid of an encoder associated to the conveyor. The general control member is a PC type computer, equipped with specific application software.

    Abstract: It concerns an activatable/deactivatable magnetomechanical marker, based on magnetic microwires, in which participates a non-bistable, magnetoelastic, soft magnetic microwire (1) with induced transversal magnetic anisotropy and with magnetoelastic resonance frequency of 58 kHz, and a second hard magnetic microwire (2), thereby achieving a substantial reduction in the size of the marker. The procedure for obtaining the same consists firstly in obtaining a soft magnetic microwire with non-bistable magnetic behaviour, which undergoes a heat treatment in the presence of transversal magnetic field sufficient to saturate the sample at a temperature below that of crystallization of the amorphous alloy, cutting said magnetic wire to the appropriate length so that its magnetoelastic resonance coincides with that of the detecting unit, and finally obtaining a hard magnetic microwire (2) which together with the soft microwire are mounted on the mechanical support (3) of the marker.
