    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described to support using one of multiple types of synchronization signal blocks (SSBs) to perform one or more management procedures. A base station may configure and transmit one or more SSBs of second type that are smaller than SSBs of a first type. For instance, SSBs of a second type may include a first subset of signals and may exclude a second subset of the signals that are included in an SSB of the first type. An SSB of the second type may be transmitted in an active bandwidth region used for communications between a user equipment (UE) and the base station. The UE may receive an SSB of the second type in an active bandwidth region, may perform one or more measurements using the SSB of the second type, and may perform one or more management procedures.

    Abstract: An apparatus and method of signaling coding type is disclosed. The coding types include binary convolutional coding (BCC), legacy lifted Low-Density Parity Check (LDPC) code, and lifted LDPC code having a length that is a multiple of the maximum legacy LDPC code. The number of bits used to indicate the coding type in a User Info field depends on whether multiple lifted LDPC codes are available for encoding, whether the lifted LDPC code is an optional coding type, or a payload size. The frame containing the User Info field is transmitted to another STA and the response contains a payload encoded using the indicated coding type.

    Abstract: Systems and method for configuring and providing discontinuous reception (DRX) operations in sidelink (SL) mode 1 and mode 2 are disclosed. A first user equipment (UE) may operate in DRX communications with a second UE over a SL while concurrently maintaining DRX communications with a base station. In some embodiments, DRX operations may include the first UE monitoring for either one or both of transmissions in a downlink from a base station and in the SL from the second UE during an active period of a DRX cycle of the DRX configuration. In embodiments, the UE may extend the active period associated with the DRX cycle when control information from either the base station or the second UE is received. Other aspects and features are also claimed and described.

Another method by a sidelink UE may periodically transmit a set of sidelink BFD RSs to another sidelink UE. The set of sidelink BFD RSs comprise one or more sidelink receive RSs. The sidelink UE configures the other sidelink UE with the sidelink receive BFD RSs.

The communication device may improve reference signal resource usage by supporting a multi-mode reference signal index modulation scheme, which utilizes all reference signal resources to convey the information bits. The adsorption inhibitor solves problems of strong water absorption, high adsorption of a water reducing agent, etc. of oil shale semicoke, reduces the use amount of the water reducing agent in concrete production, and can also reduce power consumption during grinding, thereby realizing high-value resource utilization of the oil shale semicoke.

    Abstract: A composite polyvinyl alcohol (PVA) preservative film, a preparation method and an application thereof are provided. The film includes PVA of 9-12 parts, modified silicon dioxide nanoparticles of 2-5 parts, antimicrobial of 0.3-2 parts and deionized water of 100 parts. Fruits and vegetables sensitive to sunlight have lower requirements for illumination while preserving. With PVA as matrix and silicon dioxide (SiO2) nanoparticles as modified materials, composite PVA is obtained by controlling a particle size of SiO2 and modifying its surface. The composite PVA preservative film takes advantages of different refractive indexes between PVA and SiO2 and controlling the particle size of SiO2, thereby having a low luminous transmittance. The preservative film has an effect of light-proof on fruits and vegetables suitable for light-proof storage, and improves its gas transmission and water resistance because of adding SiO2, thereby facilitating packaging preservation of the fruits and vegetables.
