Abstract: A musical instrument of the flute type having a body with the conventional elongated configuration and a hollow interior extending along the length of the body wherein the body is formed of a main body portion, foot portion and head portion, which, depending upon the embodiment of the subject invention, may be permanently secured to one another or removable from another and further wherein the material from which the body, including each of the aforementioned portions is formed is a light transmitting material.

Abstract: A saxophone neck grease plug for use in storing a saxophone after use which comprises a body defined by an upper portion and a lower portion with the upper portion defining a hollow cavity which is charged with grease and closed with a cap, the lower portion having a smaller diameter than the upper portion consisting of flexible fingers for telescopic insertion into varied sized saxophone neck sockets.
