Patent number: 11937625Abstract: The invention relates to a nutraceutical formulation of blueberry extract, fish oil (omega-3 and omega-6), recombinant human lactoferrin, vitamin A and vitamin E, for human oral consumption. The invention belongs to the field of ophthalmology and has been developed as a coadjuvant for preserving the health of the precorneal film and of the eye surface. This formulation contains an extract of natural origin (Vaccinium myrtillus L) with antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties; it also uses eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA), omega-6, and docosahexaenoic acid (DHA), omega-3, obtained from fish oil and which, together with lactoferrin, vitamin A and vitamin E, improves tear quality, since these compounds have anti-microbial and anti-inflammatory effects. This formulation has been designed as a coadjuvant for preserving the health of the precorneal film.Type: GrantFiled: December 18, 2018Date of Patent: March 26, 2024Inventors: Arturo Santos Garcia, Juan Carlos Altamirano Vallejo, Jose Alonso Chavez Garcia, Alejandro Gonzalez De La Rosa

Patent number: 11243284Abstract: A computer-implemented method for sequencing magnetic resonance imaging waveforms uses a multistage sequencing hardware. A method comprises creating, with the aid of a computer processor, an active memory region that includes waveforms and schedules being played, and creating one or more buffer memory regions that contain waveforms and schedules not currently being played. Next, the waveforms and schedules in the one or more buffer memory regions may be updated while waveforms may be played in the active memory region. Upon completion of the waveform playback in the active memory region, the active and buffer memory regions may be swapped so that the former buffer memory region becomes the active memory region, and the former active memory region becomes the buffer memory region. The method may be repeated as needed until the imaging process is completed or otherwise halted.Type: GrantFiled: January 8, 2020Date of Patent: February 8, 2022Assignee: HEARTVISTA, INC.Inventors: William Overall, Juan Santos

Publication number: 20200268147Abstract: A self-propelled table characterized by its collapsible legs and lockable wheels. The collapsible legs unfold when rolled out of a compact space and conversely, folds when pushed in. The table includes two poles that are extendable and retractable and is configured to support hanging lighting and banners. In addition, the table contains a side compartment for holding small objects and an attached elevated desk to support small devices such as laptops and flat screen televisions up to 42 inches. There are two optional poles, one is electric and one is manual crank. Both the crank and electric poles are designed for mobile Disc Jockeys tables as the maximum weight capacity is 50 lbs.Type: ApplicationFiled: February 21, 2020Publication date: August 27, 2020Inventor: Juan Santos Gadia

Patent number: 10254369Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for the imaging of a subject (e.g., patient). A pipeline architecture is presented that facilitates the development of high-quality, application-specific data reconstructions. A plurality of processing nodes is provided, each node comprising one or more processing tasks for data transformation. Two or more processing nodes are linked together to form a functional pipeline, each pipeline configured to generate image data from a raw image data set, such as raw magnetic resonance imaging data. The generated image data is used to generate the image of the subject. The processing nodes and the functional pipeline can be dynamically reconfigured to optimize the computing resources used. The processing nodes and the pipeline may be visualized and queried to facilitate debugging and the configuration of an image processing procedure.Type: GrantFiled: October 28, 2015Date of Patent: April 9, 2019Assignee: HeartVista, Inc.Inventors: William Overall, Juan Santos

Patent number: 9466034Abstract: Embodiments for determining an optimal configuration for a renewable energy power plant are provided. The power plant, which may be a virtual power plant, includes one or more generator devices and one or more energy storage devices that may be operated to undertake one or more operating applications. Data indicative of the power output of the power plant and the voltage level at the energy storage system connection point is received as an input. Using this data, combinations of energy storage devices and operating applications stored on a database are processed and, for each energy storage and operating application pair, a value indicative of the profitability of undertaking the operating application is determined. These values are used to rank the combinations of energy storage devices and operating applications according to their profitability, which in turn is used to select the most efficient or profitable application/energy storage pair.Type: GrantFiled: April 30, 2012Date of Patent: October 11, 2016Assignee: Vestas Wind Systems A/SInventors: Daniel Viassolo, Sridhar Sahukari, Gerald Murphy, Bo Hesselbæk, Jianhui Zhang, Aditya Upadhye, Yonatan Abebe, Jason Hoffman, Juan Santos, Brett Rollow
