Abstract: Availability zone and region recovery are described. For an availability zone (AZ), a recovery availability zone (rAZ) may be identified based on available computing capacity of the recovery availability zone and geographic proximity of the availability zone relative to the recovery availability zone. In an instance in which the availability zone is impacted in which at least one of hardware and software of the availability zone is not fully operational, a virtual private cloud (VPC) is generated that establishes a peered connection between the availability zone and the recovery availability zone. A service is executed in the recovery availability zone, permitting any other services executing in the availability zone to invoke the service and become partially or fully operational.

Abstract: The disclosed system may include a detachable capsule that includes a capsule-side capacitive plate. The system may also include a receiving antenna electrically connected to an antenna-side capacitive plate, and a capacitive sensor electrically connected to the capsule-side capacitive plate. The two plates may be coupled to each other and may transmit RF signals between them. The capacitive sensor may be configured to detect an amount of capacitance between the two capacitive plates. The system may also include an antenna matching tuner electrically connected to the capacitive sensor and to an antenna feed. Then, upon receiving capacitance measurements from the capacitive sensor, the antenna matching tuner may alter various parameters of the antenna feed including impedance matching parameters. Various other apparatuses and mobile wearable devices are also disclosed.

Abstract: This application provides a data transmission method, a radio frequency unit, a baseband unit, and a communication system. The baseband unit includes: a multi-wavelength integrated light source, configured to generate a first optical carrier and a second optical carrier that have different wavelengths; a first modulator, configured to modulate downlink data sent to the first radio frequency unit to the first optical carrier, to obtain a first downlink optical signal; a second modulator, configured to modulate downlink data sent to the second radio frequency unit to the second optical carrier, to obtain a second downlink optical signal; and a multiplexer/demultiplexer, configured to multiplex the first downlink optical signal and the second downlink optical signal into a downlink combined optical signal and send the downlink combined optical signal.

Abstract: A clock synchronization method and a communication apparatus are provided. The method includes: multiplexing a local analog clock signal and a first data signal to obtain a first multiplexed signal; sending the first multiplexed signal to a first apparatus; receiving a second multiplexed signal from the first apparatus; demultiplexing the second multiplexed signal to obtain a second data signal and a first analog clock signal, where the first analog clock signal corresponds to the local analog clock signal after it has gone through a transmission delay; obtaining a first signal based on the first analog clock signal, where the first signal is a delay compensation amount or a second analog clock signal, and the second analog clock signal is obtained by applying delay compensation to the local analog clock signal; and processing data based on the first signal to obtain the first data signal, to which delay compensation has been applied.

Abstract: Disclosed are a method and a device for manufacturing liquid hydrogen by offshore off-grid superconducting wind turbine. The method comprises the following steps: electrolyzing seawater to obtain hydrogen based on electric energy output by an offshore off-grid superconducting wind turbine generator, liquefying the hydrogen into prepared liquid hydrogen, and outputting a part of the liquid hydrogen as the refrigerant of the offshore off-grid superconducting wind turbine generator. The device comprises a liquid preparation platform, an offshore off-grid superconducting wind turbine generator, a seawater electrolysis unit, a hydrogen liquefaction unit and a liquid hydrogen storage unit, wherein the power ends of the seawater electrolysis unit and the hydrogen liquefaction unit are connected with the output end of the offshore off-grid superconducting wind turbine generator, and the hydrogen liquefaction unit is connected with the coolant input end of the offshore off-grid superconducting wind turbine generator.

Abstract: A rod mechanism for a garden tool having a main body includes a first rod pivotally connected to the main body and movable between an in-use position and a storage position. A locking component engages the main body to lock the first rod in one of the in-use position and the storage position. An actuator moves between a released position and a triggered position, the actuator when in the triggered position unlocking the locking component from the main body, the actuator when in the released position orienting the locking component so as to be lockable to the main body. A second rod connected to the first rod moves to a preset position allowing the actuator to move to one of the triggered position or the released position. A position sensor on the main body generates a sensing signal when the first rod pivots to at least one of the in-use position and the storage position.

Abstract: A thermal ablation includes a thermal ablation apparatus configured to perform thermal ablation on a targeted tissue according to plan data of a treatment during a therapy mode of the thermal ablation system. An MR apparatus is configured to perform T2* weighted MR imaging of the targeted tissue to assess a therapeutic response of the thermal ablation during an assessment mode of the thermal ablation system. A control apparatus is configured to switch the thermal ablation system between the therapy mode and the assessment mode. The thermal ablation apparatus is activated to perform the thermal ablation in the therapy mode. The thermal ablation apparatus is deactivated to terminate the thermal ablation and the MR apparatus is activated to perform the T2* weighted MR imaging in the assessment mode.
