Abstract: A portable disk player comprises: a base unit (1) defining a disk driven device and a disk read processing device therein, said base unit forming a mounting base (12) on a bottom cover (10) thereof, said mounting base including a protrusion (16); a display (2) being pivotally connected with one side of said base unit; and a connecting hinge (3) connecting said base unit with said display and including a horizontal tube (32) extending horizontally, a longitudinal tube (34) extending longitudinally, said longitudinal tube including a projection (342); wherein when said connecting hinge is located in a first position, one side of said projection of said longitudinal tube resists against one side of said protrusion of said mounting base, and when said connecting hinge is located in a second position, the other side of said projection of the longitudinal tube resists against the other side of said protrusion of said mounting base.

Abstract: A display for a multi-media game console. The display includes a camera and a microphone to satisfy all the functions that the game console can provide. Such that, users can play games as well as see and talk to others through Internet. The display can be utilized for a game system to entirely expand all the functions so that users can play games under an interactive environment with instant audio and video effect to increase fun.

Abstract: A decoding method and apparatus for an automotive media-player. The data stream filtered by a filter process is divided into a first data stream coded by JPEG, MP3, MPEG, and a second data stream not coded by JPEG, MP3, MPEG. The first data stream is directly inputted into the decoding process for decoding and playing. The second data stream is passed though the transcoding process to be coded again by JPEG, MP3, MPEG, and then entered into the decoding process for decoding and playing. Therefore, not only the data stream coded by JPEG, MP3, and MPEG can be played, but also various data streams other than JPEG, MP3, and MPEG can be played by the automotive media-player.

Abstract: A back light source for liquid crystal display (LCD) includes a support, a light-reflecting member, a lamp, and a diffusion plate. The support is made of plastic material having an opening on the top. The bottom surface of the support is a curved surface. The light-reflecting member is attached to the bottom surface. The lamp is received inside the support and positioned on the light-reflecting member. The diffusion plate is made of polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA) having good optical clarity. The present invention provides a back light source for LCD, which reduces the product cost and simples the structure of the back light source, thereby assembling easier.

Abstract: A TV tuner includes a first mixing stage for first intermediate frequency transformation and a second mixing stage connected to the first mixing stage for second intermediate frequency transformation. When the TV tuner receives a ground TV signal, the second mixing stage is functioned as a mixer for the second intermediate frequency transformation. When the TV tuner receives an FM broadcasting signal, the second mixing stage is functioned as a phase comparison stage which connects to an integrator and a mixing oscillator thereby forming a PPL demodulator.

Abstract: A wireless digital audio and video transmission device includes a multimedia video device employed as an AV signal generator, and at least one display device. The multimedia video device includes a wireless transmission module, a video compression module, a lock code module and an antenna device. The wireless transmission module includes a wireless emitter and a wireless receiver. The antenna device is communicated to the wireless receiver and the wireless emitter. Each display device includes a wireless transmission module and a display. The wireless transmission module includes a wireless emitter and a wireless receiver.

Abstract: A planar satellite antenna and mobile electronic apparatus arrangement includes a mobile electronic apparatus having a base member and a display panel hinged to the base member, a planar satellite antenna for receiving the satellite signal of an artificial satellite and transmitting the signal to the base member for output through the display panel, and a coupling structure coupled between the display panel and the planar satellite antenna for enabling the planar satellite antenna to be turned upwards, downwards, leftwards, and rightwards relative to the display panel to the best satellite signal receiving position.

The connecting mechanism removably connects the housing and the display module. The display module is rotatable in the receiving space of the housing.

Abstract: A seat back display with a protective cover for a back of a chair, comprising a display module received in a receiving chamber of the back of the chair, a protective cover for covering the display module thereby shielding the display module, and a connecting mechanism formed between the protective cover and the back of the chair. The protective cover is secured to the back of the chair by the connecting mechanism. The protective cover is padded thereby protecting the display module and also hiding the display module from view so that it won 't be stolen.
