  • Patent number: 11845580
Abstract: A method for producing and inspecting a package comprising at least one product cavity of a formed part sealed by a lidding film comprises the steps of: (a) sealing the lidding film to the formed part along a seam by means of a sealing device, which comprises a sealing contour with a plurality of segments; (b) detecting, by means of the sealing device, a parameter characteristic of the sealing quality of the seam in each segment; and (c) detecting a problem with the sealing according to step (a) based on the parameter detected according to step (b) in each segment.

  • Patent number: 11767139
Abstract: A method for producing a package which has a formed part with a product cavity, and a lidding film covering the product cavity. According to the method, a seam is defined, the seam is divided into sections, a pull-off force for pulling the lidding film from the formed part at least for a first section is determined, and the lidding film is sealed to the formed part. The sealing temperature for the first section is selected based on the pull-off force.

  • Publication number: 20230000226
Abstract: The contact lens package comprises an accommodation element having a cup which contains a contact lens fluid and a contact lens, and a cover film which closes the cup. The accommodation element has, at least in a region of the cup, a coating containing silicon oxide or aluminium oxide. The associated method of production comprises the coating of the accommodation element, at least in the region of the cup, with the coating and the associated packaging machine comprises a coating station for corresponding coating of the accommodation element.

  • Patent number: 11407545
Abstract: A sealing device for sealing a lid material to sealing areas of a blister web comprises a first, heated sealing tool and a second sealing tool arranged opposite each other and movable relative to each other. A first intermediate element of elastic material is attached to the first sealing tool on a side facing the second sealing tool, and a second intermediate element of thermally-insulating material is attached to the second sealing tool on a side facing the first sealing tool. The first and second sealing tools are movable relative to each other between an opened position and a closed position, in which at least sections of the first intermediate element and of the second intermediate element exert pressure on each other. In the closed sealing position, the first intermediate element rests on the lid material and the second intermediate element rests on lands of the blister web.
