  • Patent number: 11161493
Abstract: A communications system is described for a hydraulic brake system, including a communications bus, a connected, first control device, a connected, second control device, and a further connected communications unit. In response to a loss of its communication with the first control device in spite of its regular communication with the at least one further communications unit, at least one instance of functional impairment of the first control device and/or of a first motorized device controlled by the first control device is detectable with the aid of the second control device. A hydraulic brake system for a vehicle, a method for checking a communications system, and a method for operating a hydraulic brake system of a vehicle, are also described.

  • Patent number: 6831576
Abstract: A method for improving the resolution of an A/D converter and/or a converter system having an S/H device and an A/D converter is described. In order to improve the resolution of the A/D converter, an auxiliary signal is superposed on an analog signal, and the superposed signal is sampled and converted into digital output values using the A/D converter. Based on the digital output values, it is possible to determine an output value having higher resolution, e.g., by averaging.

  • Patent number: 6268996
Abstract: A capacitor terminal is described, in particular for an electrolyte power capacitor, with which the capacitor is mechanically and electrically connected to a fastening part and/or to electric conductors. The capacitor terminal on the capacitor itself is designed as a contact stud having a relatively long, smooth contact area. The contact stud is designed in the form of a cylinder having a round or oval cross section or a rectangular tube connection. The part accommodating the contact stud is composed of a contact spring accommodating the contact stud for mechanical fixation and to establish the electric contact and which is attached to a connection strip. An extra spring can surround the contact spring in a ring to increase the contact force. Multiple capacitors may be connected to the connection strip by a simple plug-in technique, i.e.
