  • Patent number: 9823105
Abstract: A circuit arrangement (1) for monitoring the temperature of an electronic component (2), which, in particular, can be impinged with an electric current and can be connected to at least one voltage source (3). The circuit arrangement is able to guarantee safe monitoring of the temperature of an electronic component impinged with electric current by the electronic component (2) being part of at least one Wheatstone bridge (7) and by at least one switching device (8) being provided that influences the impingement of the electronic component (2) with electric current on the basis of a bridge transverse voltage of the Wheatstone bridge (7). Additionally, circuit arrangement (1) is well suited for use in a calorimetric mass flowmeter (18).

  • Patent number: 8593838
Abstract: A power supply device for intrinsically safe power supply of an intrinsically safe load circuit includes a voltage source, a power-limiting circuit including at least two controllable semiconductor devices, a current-limiting circuit including at least one resistor, and a load circuit connector connected to the load circuit. The power-limiting circuit and the current-limiting circuit are active between the voltage source and the load circuit connector. The resistor includes a resistance value that suffices to limit a short circuit current to a current without danger of a spark ignition.

  • Patent number: 8528401
Abstract: An explosion-proof device with a pressure-proof capsule (2), an electronic mechanism (3) and a signal receiver (4), wherein the electronic mechanism (3) is designed intrinsically safe, the pressure-proof capsule (2) has a radiolucent process window (5) and the signal receiver (4) is arranged inside of the pressure-proof capsule (2). An explosion-proof device that can be flexibly used and is economical is implemented in that the electronic device (3) is arranged within the pressure-proof capsule (2) and the signal receiver (4) is designed to be intrinsically safe.
